What is the best way to get adept plague?

I've been trying for many games now and I keep getting 4K's but it's never quite enough to get the double pip. My malicious and chaser are always lacking, since I try to puke on people when I chase and thus I extend the chase whilst also not getting enough points in malicious due to people cleansing and that taking an insane amount out of malicious.

Is there a good way to go about this? I'm currently not using any add ons or offerings and I can reliably 4K with that but even if I hook everyone the maximum amount of times I still get at most gold malicious and chaser, whichkeeps me from getting the double pip required for the achievement.

The best way to achieve an adept is to maximize your points in all 4 of the categories. The hardest one to get 8k points in is the Chaser emblem, this emblem focuses on ending chases as fast as you can, but it also has a more hidden requirement to it...

It says it promotes ending chases as fast as you can, but it actually promotes keeping the chase at a moderate length while also getting hits off as consistently as possible. Allow me to explain, the game wants you to down people as much as possible, and because of this, the emblem rewards this when you effectively "milk" every single hook each Survivor can take in one match. This means that since it takes 3 hooks each to kill one Survivor, and there is 4 Survivors in a team, that's 12 times you have to hook a Survivor to kill everyone in the game.

That's why if a Survivor DCs or dies early from being hooked, you won't get the most perfect game to get merciless Killer with the three perks. THIS is why its so hard to get merciless as Killer, its because having three perks that don't exactly co-exist well with each other while also playing the game as proficiently as possible is no easy feat...

So keep this in mind when playing as plague, max out EVERYTHING you can in points, that means you'll want to for example down Survivors regularly, but also get them sick. So when they DO get fully sick, you gain deviousness points from it while also gaining two brutality hit points (That's 600 points for two hits) as the SAME TIME! So what I mean is, you chase them, get them sick but not fully sick, hit them, than wait till they get into the broken state from sickness and than down them for the maximum points...

You need to abuse everything in a game that promotes points, everything. You need to protect generators perfectly (But don't be afraid to lose any, it just promotes how long you can keep them protected) and also hit Survivors and down them as much as possible, don't lose chases, etc. Even if you down a Survivor but don't hook them, that actually helps you gain more points in the emblems. Its all about getting that one team that lets you do all this, they don't hand it to you of course, but they're not coordinated enough to withstand your abuse of the system as long as you can.

I'm not saying hold the game hostage, i'm saying you milk the game for all its worth the fastest way possible. If people DC, don't expect to get Merciless because of how the game works, its unfortunate when that happens honestly... It used to be where I could just mori everyone and get adept, but now you REALLY work for it to get it...

tl;dr

Milk the game for all its worth, maximize all your points in all the emblem tiers by getting as many hits, downs, chases won, hooks, time spent having all generators protected, etc.

The game wants you to have a perfect game with those 3 perks and its a real challenge, so remember to not just get people sick and down them make sure to try to get them sick, hit them, than wait till they get sick and THAN down them to get the maximum amount of points in brutality and deviousness.
