Dream Demon attainable?

In regards to any of the achievement/trophy systems like Playstation 4, XBox One, or Steam, is it attainable now that Freddy doesn't directly pull his prey into the Dream World? Or have the conditions been reworked to include when the timer goes off or when he slugs people and that does so? I can't seem to find any information about how this is doable now.

This is what the Achievement says now. Going off of this, its basically telling you that getting anyone into the dream state, whether hitting them when they're awake or waiting for the timer, will count towards the achievement.
So yes, it is attainable, its just been reworked to fit the new Freddy.
