Suggestion to discourage survivors from killing themselves/dc when camped

Hello Dead by Daylight community,

I’ve been giving a lot of thought to the whole frustration of being camped as a survivor and how it screws over the rest of the team when they give up and kill themselves on hook.

When survivors kill themselves on hook, it ruins the game for both the killer and the other survivors and then creates the whole issue of entitled survivors believing that the killer should adjust their play style to be more “fair” because the one person killed themselves on hook. If there was incentive to remain on hook/not give up even when being face camped/proxy camped, I feel like there will be less survivors giving up on games where killers face camp because they would get some compensation for it.

I was thinking that survivors could get bloodpoints as “Distraction” if they are within 32 meters of the killer and the killer IS NOT in a chase or breaking generators. Effectively, the hooked survivor is serving as a distraction from the killer who could be patrolling generators and seeking out other survivors.

It wouldn't be so bad if ppl wouldn't then just ignore the person on the hook to fix gen.

How much blood points tho? As we know some killers would face camp right at the start so that they will have enough time to face camp another suriviour. So if a surivior was to be unlucky enough and get hook right at the start and be face camp all through that I hook. Would it just give them 5k bonus because if so then that won't encourage them. If it's 10 or 14k won't encourage red rank survivors because they will get depip if we get less than 15k ( I think). So the points would have to be ridiculously high. Also the game already rewards people for staying on hook which is called 'struggling'. So if people are still dcing even with that, then your suggestion won't help.

I agree, the Problem I see with Face Camping Killer! (I know, because I main Killer and also play as Survivors at times!) Is that...

A.) They are very Toxic, having such a bad day that they would just... Face Camp to secure their kills! Especially, when dealing with Toxic SWF groups that screw their game by "Gen Rushing", Destroying their Hexs Totem, and Wasting their time in chase, loops, pallets, etc.

B.) Again, Toxicity, because they are; and that they do not care about losing BPs or other Survivors getting Generator done, just so they can eliminate that one survivor!

*Personal, I dislike Face Camping, as it not fair for that hooked Survivors, and I would only camp (not faced), if I happen to know if their Survivors allies are nearby for the save!

If I were to make suggestions to pressure killers from Face camping, make it so that the Face Camping Killer gets punished by standing near the hook, by pausing the timer on the first stage! This ensure that the Survivors doesn't need to struggle at all, as the killer is not playing fair by leaving the hooked Survivors alone, plus the Survivors get extra BPs in Bravery as they are being the distraction! Pretty much, Punish Face Camping Killers by standing close to the hooked Survivors!

Also, to make it fair and balanced for killers that need to camp the hook, when other Survivors are nearby; the Rescuer would be punished the hook Survivor, when the Killer is near, by starting up the First Stage Timer! That way, hooked Survivors will be punished by their allies, if they are being too altruistic by hiding near the hook, when the killer is near, especially the killer will be given the notification of the rescue's aura!

This change will not only punished Face Camping Killers, but also Toxic SWF Survivors that are being too altruistic in behind the Killer's back after hooking!

People aren't giving up on hook because they aren't making bloodpoints. They do it because they either cant accept they ######### up, or refuse to be camped/tunneled. Even 5k bp wouldnt change that.

That is not going to impact anything. At all. People who kill themselves on the hook don't give a damn about bloodpoints.

That won't change anything. Most of the people I see kill themselves on hook do it because I'm playing a killer that they don't like, their team is losing, or they're trying to give the last survivor hatch.

Though I would appreciate some emblem points for being camped so I'm not guaranteed a depip.

Im rather worried that survivors want bloodpoints for getting hooked and not ragequitting.

"I didnt RAGEQUIT, give me bloodpoints"

Sorry for being a jerkass, but this is nonsensical.
