Should TWO Basements Always Spawn in Each Map?
Basically, two basements in each map, one at the killer shack, and another one at a major land mark. :)
What's your thoughts?

I would say no. Right now, if a Meghead goes down by the basement, I can look at her and say, "That's your fault. You shouldn't have gone down near the basement. You could have gone anywhere in the map, but you went near the basement."
By comparison, if there's two basements, you're sorta' boned no matter what on some maps- especially if the killer has agitation or something. Then it's less because you messed up and more because you're always within reach of a basement.

No, but i did once suggest this as a Killer Offering.
Though that was over a year ago. 😅

That's fair, I was wondering on how the community would feel about this.
However, if you don't mind, can you tell me why you wouldn't want this? I'm kinda iffy about two Basements, so that's why I'm asking! :)

well 1, there isn't space for 2 basements on some maps (haddonfield and the game) and 2, i just hate the basement tbh

That would actually be really awesome! As a killer you only ever use BP offerings or a mori if you want to depip and be a jerk
That would be pretty cool and could be a nice indirect buff for killers on a lot of tough maps such as Lodge or Haddonfield

boy would Monto have a much easier time doing his basement build videos.
personally... I dont really know, I dont get a chance to use the basement all that much, or get put in the basement all that much. So... maybe :P

Well the problem is Haddonfield.
There's no place to put it, they'd have to make one.
There's another map or 2 like that.
Probably not worth the effort for 1 Offering.

I'd rather remake our current basement then add a second one.

They could just make it so that if the offering, "conflicts" with the map, it just gets returned to your inventory like what already happens in certain interactions.

Someone once suggested this as a re-work idea for Monstrous Shrine. If they could find some way to implement second basements in stages that only had one, I'd be on board with that idea.

What would make it better is that there would be a portal on the wall that allowed the killer to teleport from the one basement to the other.

Also I don't think it should be two basements.... It's already treated like a place for punishing survivors to not being careful.

Yeah, but that's not really a solution as it is a lesser evil.
You're basically not allowed to use an Offering because RNG.

As a Killer focused player... no thanks. It would open up some issues and probably a myriad of bugs with map generation. Not to mention, how annoying it could b with super immersed players spread out & having two basement areas to hide in.
