Hatch close animation suggestions

I think that each killer should have a unique animation for closing the hatch because it helps show their individual personality. (Side note: I realize that this would be hard to implement because for one thing, the actual kid of the hatch isn’t always in a good position to reach. Maybe the devs could work on something to prevent it from clipping old.) I will also not mention killers that have a unique animation already (i.e. nurse, spirit, and hag.)

Trapper: I think that the trappers idea fits him fine, a big strong guy simply stomping on a big metal lid to cause it to fall.

Wraith: I think that the wraith could slowly place a hand on it and seem to reflect on the hatch and how it reminds him of crushing all those people in the car crusher, then he could quickly close it seeming to remember the entity’s cruel treatment at disobedience.

Hillbilly: I think billy should smack the lid with the butt of his chainsaw and watch as it slams shut.

Myers: Since Michael is shown to be calm and collected, I think he should simply walk past it and use his free hand (left) to shut it with little to no effort without breaking stride.

Doctor: I think the doctor should laugh maniacally and then hold the stick almost like a spear and lance the lid, then place his foot on the (closed lid) and let it out.

Huntress: I think the huntress should stand on the side of the hatch and in a strong down swing, use her axe to quickly close the gate.

Cannibal: I think Bubba should use the sledge in a strong overhead, two handed strike, hit the lid, forcing it closed.

Freddy: Freddy could place his gloved hand on the side of the lid and drag his hand upward, closing the hatch and causing a shrill sound of metal on metal.

Pig: Like her mentor and repeating a common sight in the movies, she should use both hands on the hatch and close it from the side in a strong, quick, motion, causing it to slam shut. (Maybe the devs could get the actress to mutter “game over” just like Amanda’s mentor did, all those years ago).

Clown: Much like his mori, the clown brings up his oversized clown shoe up in the air, kicking the lid shut during the upswing (not stomping on it) and he laughs, then proceeds to cough (due to his habit of vaping when not in a trial) placing his hand on his knee and wheezing, then standing up again and readying himself.

Legion: since the legion are small(er) than most killers, they put their shoulder on the back of the lid, grunting and really putting their back into shutting it, stumbling once it gives.

Plague: Once the plague arrives at the back of the lid, she swings her censer upwards striking the lid and closing it in one smooth motion.

Ghost Face: looks around to see if he is being watched (old habits die hard) and puts both hands on the lid and pushes it closed.

Demogorgon: Being a more primitive killer, it gets on all fours, preparing to enter it like one of its portals, one of the entity’s pokey limbs, slashes and stabs at the Demogorgon’s hands and it backs up, (I have two possibly ending ideas)

  1. the entity then reaches out with a spidery looking mass of appendages, and closes it as the Demogorgon stands up and walks away.
  2. The demogorgon (now angry that it was poked and stopped from doing what it wanted) angrily slams the lid shut while shrieking.

I know that these would take time to implement but I really think these would help with the look and personality of each killer. I also realize that as I mentioned earlier, the hatch lid isn’t always exactly reachable because of clipping and stuff, but like I said maybe the devs could work on how it spawns in, orientation wise. Please feel free to speak up if you like or dislike these ideas, I think these would be fun though. See you in the fog!
