Hex: Huntress Lullaby
Why is it so poorly made? The idea behind it with Ruin is atrociously exciting and dangerous, but what really makes this perk weak and poorly designed is one word: "Hex". Why can't we make this into a regular perk, not based on hex totems?
A song for the standing survivors grows its power in despair. Your hunt is an irresistible song of dread which muddles your prey's attention.
Survivors receive a 3/6/9 % regression penalty when missing any Skill Check
.
Each time a Survivor is hooked, Huntress Lullaby grows in power:
- 1 to 4 Tokens: Time between the Skill Check warning sound and the Skill Check becomes shorter.
- 5 Tokens: No Skill Check warning.
"That song, it drives me crazy!"

Yeah... any Hex perk feels really too risky to run. They never, ever last.

Especially lullaby. It offers more downsides than advantages to the player.

Like "Yes, i'd love to bring a perk that can be removed after a survivor holds m1 for 17 seconds on the other side of the map. Thank you."

Hex perks tend to be “high risk-high reward” IE offering a powerful advantage but the massive downside is it can be removed. I’m fine with the hex perks being tied into totems. The better question to ask would be... why are totem spawns so atrocious on older maps? (I’m looking at you disturbed ward)
