Nurse blinks to a corner- if the survivor decided to run straight, her base blink will not reach them which is another cooldown. The survivor now gets to totally dictate the guessing game.

survivors "controlling" the killers power? nothing new anymore since plague and ghostface.

I’m not saying sounds overall are useless, but how does the addon do anything? Any half decent nurse can use normal sounds. My point is that she relies more on sight. This is yet another worthless addon in a game full of them. And btw I consistently 4 k with current nurse.

I mean if you think it's weak, that's your opinion and is therefore completely valid. But, what common add-ons aren't worthless? They all give minimal impact on gameplay but can help newer players or can just offer a helping hand if you don't have any other add-ons to run.

This is the problem with the balance team. You aren't interested in making a killer good in base kit alone, now you need addons to do anything. And cooldowns are not interesting for a killer. Would I rather have a power I can use whenever I want throughout the match or one limited to cooldowns and be an m1 killer inbetween?
It's clear what your team wants.

Will metal spoon negate iron will/no mither? and will it pair in power with stridor out of curiosity?
Will matchbox and spasmodic breath pair together? or are they stringent increases in speed? Also was matchbox considered to have its speed increased to the typical 4.6m/s with one less blink and one half distance blink? might be more fitting for an ultra rare
Also with Anxious gasp what will the range be like? is it an infectious fright style scream?

Not only is Spirit one of the hardest characters to play but also incredibly rewarding.

As a partial Spirit main myself, she was the killer I found the easiest to get used to, all you need to be good with her is ears.

She is one of the easiest killers to learn. I can't believe people still think she is hard to learn. Her only difficult part is plugging in your headphones

So we are getting Stridor, Nurse's Calling and Infectious Fright as light versions on her add-ons?
Losing out on blinks and range as well increase power cool down by 3.5 seconds?

@Peanits Have you tested how these changes will affect console players?
Nerfing a killer while disregarding players on other platform is in my opinion bad design.

She is easy to learn if you understand the game mechanics and know how to play killer. Of course you will struggle if you don't know the game that much

Some of these add-ons are designed with that in mind (namely add-ons that reduce fatigue). These would make it a little more forgiving if you aren't able to land the hit. Though ultimately, what makes her difficult to play on consoles is the sensitivity. This is something else we are looking into.

It’s not an opinion. How many good players, outside of spirit, run stridor? The larger problem is that it seems like ALL of Nurse’s addons outside of the lesser fatigue time are garbage.

Remember when they said her basekit would 'get slight tweaks, mostly just the numbers?' If this counts as a 'slight tweak,' I'd hate to imagine what a big tweak would be like.

I'm going to hold off saying too much since I haven't played her yet but my first Impression is that Your probably going to be spending a lot more time fatigued and looking at the ground. If this is the case I'm going to have to drop playing her, Her stun is nauseating.

I hope the nurse doesn't become add-on dependant because that's how it looks on paper. I guess we'll see on the ptb...

My two questions:
- Does the 2 addons that reduce recharge time stack?
- Does the recharge timer stop while charging up a blink?
These are pretty important things. If she recharges another blink during a blink charge that is huge. You could still play a double blink, single blink, double blink set up. Now if that is the case, those 2 addons stacking means she is basically the current Nurse but you have to use addons.
I really hope it's yes to both of them. Nurse was the last thing i enjoyed about this game and if she is killed I guess "mm getting buried along with here.

The green one is already 0.9 seconds off the charge time, that's 1.7 seconds to be able to double blink after fatigue. I kinda feel like stacking them would just be wasting the yellow one. If I had to guess if they stacked it would be multiplicative, so:
Base: 3 (6)
Green: 2.1 (4.2)
Yellow: 2.4 (4.8)
Both: 1.68 (3.36)
If you were to use both you'd shave less than a second off the time to charge both blinks.

Well i think its an insanely pointless change that wont do anything. The devs said the reason they did this was to help players break line of sight with the nurse but thats not even an issue really and even if it was this change doesnt help that. Rather than helping the survivors break line of sight it just make it to where the nurse can see you but cant get to you. If they really wanted to change her power then they should have made her fatigue a little longer. So yeah they shouldnt have touched her base power.

Let's just note. A very good Nurse will still hit you in those 2 blinks and never have to worry about that recharge being an issue. If the Nurse hits her blinks the first time, the recharge doesn't do anything against her. It only removed quad-omega-blink from the list of BS to face. Homestly it's not much of a nerf to good nurses who can hit blinks with no issue.

Sorry, you're thinking of god tier Nurse's. "Most" Nurse's were just really good with her, and these changes when playing against good survivors will not "always" hit you with those 2 blinks. Get real.
"Just hit your blinks 100% of the time, every time 5head" With changes that make that incredibly difficult. There's been plenty of posts on here that go into the details as to why what looks like a minor change is a massive one, but thankfully we have people like you to remind us that it's basically the same, just hit your blinks.
Word to the wise, devs, a killer should be strong without addons. Any killer that is reliant on addons to be strong is bad design. This game is filled with it and addon issues you just barely got around to addressing. Like, how has Doctor been out this entire time and you think that his pitiful distance for his shock is acceptable? You literally NEED a range addon for it. FOR A KILLER THAT'S ALREADY GARBAGE WITH OR WITHOUT IT! lol. You don't need an entire rework to simply buff the range of his shock, but you can't even do that because you're so afraid, or incapable, of balancing your game.

The developers seem to blatantly ignore console users.

I used to play her a lot on ps4 i dont think it would be too bad if we could have better frame stability and actually SEE things xD
