Nurse nerf
What is everyone else's thoughts on the base nurse nerf? For anyone who doesn't know her blinks now recharge. She can have up to 2 at base (assuming I understood it right) and they take 3 seconds to recharge. The recharge starts at the beginning of fatigue.

I thought the recharge started after the fatigue ends but this is much better. If you had to wait 6 seconds after the fatigue she would be much, much weaker

This change seems to penalize only those who are not good at using nurse. My thoughts, but consider that i almost never use nurse.

She just dropped WAY down on the tier list.
She's probably not even A tier now looking at those changes.
Just first impression though.

It's subjected to possibly change after the PTB and it doesn't sound too bad so I don't really mind. Well we'll see soon enough how it is.

Basically she can't snowball and punish survivors who stay grouped together anymore.
Awesome, all we wanted was add-on reworks and were getting a base kit nerf, Amazing, really, great job, Big wow, wowsers, fantastic.

It sounds to me like you’ll be able to break LOS with her before you can even blink twice. It’s really going to hurt her.

Do people really immediately believe this will destroy Nurse and make her so much weaker? Just because survivors now get a bit more time to break line of sight from Nurse? Because they now have a bit more counterplay? Why is it that map reworks that give weaker killers more counterplay against survivors are fine, but when survivors get a bit more counterplay against a killer that ignores any defense survivors have, that's not ok?
I am so happy about these upcoming changes, she will probably now be a viable and balanced killer.

How is that not big? Now, even when a survivor is hit, they can create alot of distance and break LOS. Then it becomes a complete random guess into another 3 seconds if they aren’t there.

Three seconds for a single blink which won't be enough because the survivor will be blocking LoS that whole time, so she'll need to wait for her second blink to allow for a correction. 6 seconds of being slower than the survivor running away from you.
I don't see how making the Nurse add-on dependent is a good thing.

Imagine having to land your blinks and be a good Nurse. Now when people 4k as nurse people will actually be impressed.

This is a good thing. This gives them an opportunity to lose the killer which is- without a doubt- the most powerful in a chase. If you're concerned with losing the survivor, I would suggest using this:
Metal Spoon
Hitting a Survivor with a blink attack causes their sounds of pain to be moderately louder for 60 seconds.
That'll help you keep track of them even if they do break line of sight.

Sounds aren’t that important with Nurse and often aren’t helpful because of the limited time you have to decide if you want to blink again. That add on does nothing.

she will be unplayable now on maps with massive LOS breaks against decent players. also bad nurse players will spam the brain dead spirit even more now since she never required any skill. great thanks! gonna be fun to play survivor the next couple of weeks.

Definitely a nerf to base nerf but some interesting add ons which will give her the ability to do really well still.

It doesn't become a random guess, you still know approximately where survivors have run to. Breaking LOS is the only counterplay survivors have against Nurse, since she ignores any kind of defense survivors have, so I don't see how it's fair if survivors have a slightly longer chance of being able to break LOS.

I’m happy this is happening because even though I see no nurses on Xbox I’ve watched videos on people ending games in a minute with nurse and it’s honestly really sad to see.

I play nurse and I get easy 4ks every single match with no challange whatsoever.

Have you ever played Nurse? Sounds play a vital role in playing as her, if they didn't, the current LOS blockers in the game would destroy her, but they don't. That's because good Nurses will either:
Predict where the survivor is going
And/or
Use sounds to determine what they are doing, footsteps and grunts of pain give the Nurse enough info to safely determine where the survivor is going.
