Increasing MAX Points in all CAT. [KILLER&SURVIVOR]
I think it's time to increase the maximum of points you can gain in a trial.
In the last time, there a way more ways you can get points and every player you will ask about "max points" will tell you, that he got so often max points in one or two categories and is kind of point capped. And this is for both sides. When I'm playing The Trapper I'm so often max'ed out with trapping survivors mid game, this is... so often I'm max'ed out in the objective cat. when I'm playing survivor. Because the other survivors are unhooking or get chased by the killer. and when I'm doing the gens...
I think the maximum point cap in each category should be: 10.000 points.
That makes 40.000 instead of 32.000 points you can get in a trial.
Even in the category "Survival" you would get easy above 8.000 points today:
Survival: 5.000
Obsession: 1.500 (6.500)
Hook Escape: 1.500 (8.000) and oops, we are already max'ed out.
Sometimes I would earn 16.000 points in a trial by just reparing gens, opening gates, cleansing totems or in another trial, wehn you get chased the entire game by the killer you would get way more above this 8.000 points in boldness. At the end the 8K cap is too unfair for players. Sometimes you only want to repair, or get chased by the killer. Every player is in some things better, so he should play the way he wants and this is the point of the game, I think. Why should a survivor distract the killer when he can't "loop" the killer good and long enough or why someone should doing gens, when he can't hit skill checks or doing gens is too boring for him.
And to grind "faster" or "easier" this is also a way to give the players a better chance.
8.000 points more in a game are two 4.000 things in a bloodweb. And this sounds really low. Just two things for increasing the points by 25%.

I am going to have to agree with you. Increasing each category's cap with 2k (and perhaps fiddle around with scoring events to help compensate for the increased cap) wouldn't cause much harm.
Not sure how harmful it'd be to the game, however. Its well known that the game's code is fragile and even minuscule changes can break everything.
Perhaps reworking the BP offerings to reward more BP overall (by changing all offerings to behave more like Pudding/Cake/Bloody Party Streamers) would be the easier way to go?

I would rather have them balance the individual catagories on moth side .increasing the cap just make bloodpoint machines like doctor and legion the go to for bp and futhers the gap between killer and survivor bloodpoint gain
