NOED does NOT rewards the killer for playing badly

As i said, all killers can have map pressure.

That man is my spirit animal. It's so true too, you are literally playing as a 3 perk killer for the entire game with the chance that survivors don't cleanse totems.
0 -
Go play Clown or Wraith.
2 -
You know how you can hook someone with Trapper, see 2 people working on a gen on the opposite side of the map via bbq, and have no way to actually reach them before the gen pops? SUPREME MAP PRESSURE
If it's an SWF, or even average solos, running you to such extreme portions of the map each time because they know this super common/obvious strat? SUPREME MAP PRESSURE
At this point, it's not really a conversation/debate with that person, so it's probably best to disengage, captain.

I think you summed it up better than I ever could with just those two examples. Thank you and have fun in the fog.
2 -
I am a pt3, and i have p1 wraith, adept on both, red rank on killer.
0 -
You forgot the fact you get the full expose effect on t1 noed instead of t3 now but i agree to this
0 -
I'm already done with this. Have fun in the Fog.

Yeah because calling people childish for voicing their opinions isn’t childishly it’s own way right? why are you being so toxic, you can’t have a simple conversation without insulting someone who doesn’t have the same opinion as you? Lol I don’t care how many prestige survivors or killers you have , skill level isn’t the same as grinding a game . You’d know that has no merit in a balancing discussion 😂

This is where "COUNTERPLAY" comes in, as you killers like to tell survivors about so much.
Just don't take the bait, don't go too far away from gens and you can play around and counterplay the survivor baiting you into running to the other side of map. Nobody is forcing you to run that far and throwing the game.
Right now you get NOED from throwing the game, wich is bad gameplay, a reward you could say, wich is what NOED Is. A reward for throwing the game and having tunnelvision.
That is why it needs to get removed, rewarding bad gameplay and not countering what survivors are doing is just not good.
2 -
You are childish for calling people killer main/survivor main, and that has no place in a balancing discussion
0 -
And also, devotion and bloodpoints come from playing the game, which is LITERALLY the only thing that has merit in a balance discussion lol

What's the counterplay (in the quoted scenario) for seeing the two people on the gen across the map after hooking someone? Losing the generator?
I'm assuming that part of the counterplay of 'not following them into the other side with an m1 killer' and allowing them to heal involves hoping that there is not a gen there, too @_@

Don't bother with Jeyers. They will talk a big game till you prove them wrong then stop talking and make a new discussion about how Killers are OP.
0 -
A gen with two people on takes 60 seconds to be finished on average. Supposing they were on the gen before you started chasing, that is your mistake. But if they got on the gen after, it means you will have enough time to go back (you shouldn't chase people for more than 40 seconds)
0 -
But not everyone is. GrootDude is a Bubba main and I'm sure he does really well with him at red ranks, but that doesn't mean an average Bubba will do well against an average red rank team. Simply put, just because one person is god with a low tier killer doesn't mean everyone can, and too say "well I do good with X Killer" is not fair nor an actual argument IMO.
1 -
I dont know if you have realised but you just proved my point. All i said was that low tier killers are viable with hours and knowledge
1 -
Do all killers have map pressure? By their natural design, yes. Do all killers have good map pressure? No only a couple like 4, and I guarantee you clown is not on that list. If you got a 3 gen situation you were probably at low ranks and the survivors didn't attempt to prevent that and they suffer the consequences, definitely not because killers have too much map pressure.
0 -
Clown has no "map pressure."
I hooked a guy as clown today and realize 2 survivors were on different gens across the map. I'm not a good mobility killer, so I'm forced to sacrifice a gen and that's just one of his biggest issues.
Killers can't just "apply pressure" that's such an idiotic argument.
1 -
"you shouldn't chase people for more than 40 seconds"
Things like that are the number 1 stupidest things players who are bad at balance discussions say
2 -
Thank you. Clown is even worse to play then Legion. At least Legion is fun.
0 -
If you see two people like that on the other side you failed as a killer to stop survivors doing their objective.
And deserve to lose that gen.
0 -
Wow dude. Just... wow. You have made some reaches before to insult Killers, but that is a new low. That didn't even make SENSE!
1 -
Noed is not clutch but it does reward bad play. Think about it if you are a good killer you would kill all the survivors before the last gen popped. But if you play badly and they do get done noed can get you a free kill without earning it. It also punishes survivors for doing there only objective btw totems are not objectives there just for bloodpoints and hex perks. You should not have to cleanse totems every round to avoid the 50% chance of there being noed at the end. I do not think a totem counter would be good because it would nerf other hex perks. I think noed should have a 2 minute timer that when runs out will stop the Insta down effect but keep the speed boost.
0 -
So you don't think or agree that walking far away, all the way to the other side of a map from where the gens are should lose you that gen ?
This is why its pointless discussing with killer mains. They just want an easy win no matter what they do.
0 -
No, I want to have a good, back and forth match and not a stomp either way. It's about pointless talking to you cause it's like talking to a brick wall.
What he meant was First hook of the game or any hook, you look over and see them WAY OVER THERE, so What are you gonna do? You are just screwed. He didn't say "willingly leaving the gens" or anything. Why are you putting words in people's mouth?
0 -
It definetly does.
First, it's a perk designed to secure a win when you failed to defend gens or apply map pressure.
Second, it is mainly used by noobs and trash killers so they feel like they accomplished something when in reality they did nothing good.
Lastly, if you *require* NOED to win matches with wtv killer you're using (most likely Wraith) then you need to watch more guides on that said killer.
2 -
As i said, im rank 1. And also, all killers can m1, so just because they dont have extreme movement speed doesnt mean they cant apply map pressure.
0 -
And you wonder why people complete gens... Im not going to argue anymore, chase people for 40 seconds and then complain gen rush is a thing, complain why survivors are unbalanced, you are doing a great job.
0 -
I takes 80 seconds to complete a gen on your own, and that is without ruin. In that scenario you would patrol one gen, chase one survivor and kill him, and if the survivor stayed on the gen you would have multiple hooks, which is a pretty favorable situation to the killer, so you would sacrifice a gen to win the match, or else no gens would pop and the survivors would be busy healing. Also, perks like Corrupt, Pop goes the weasel, surveillance and tinkerer help you apply pressure on the correct spots of the map, so the only thing holding you back is skill
0 -
Don't bother talking to me. You are a brick wall with an attitude and I value my sanity enough not to bother.
0 -
Now you're being dishonest, and trying to argue using logical fallacies by moving the goalpost.
Nothing in his post said anything about it being the 1st hook, you just made that up.
Very dishonest and not a good way of discussing.
0 -
Like your post. Like all of your posts. Like LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOU SAY till some one proves you wrong.
Don't bother talking to me either. You bash killers till you are proven wrong then slink off to make a new post about Killers being bad or OP. Whatever man. I'm smart enough to know you will legit NEVER listen to anyone. So, brick wall that gives survivors a bad name, Don't bother talking to me, as I will now ignore you.
0 -
Not listening to YOU doesnt mean he wont listen to anyone
0 -
You are the one that is always saying "listen to people". Did i say anything but facts on that post?
0 -
And now you're attacking me after your dishonest comments have been exposed.
This is just sad.
0 -
And if the hook occurs within the first minute of gameplay?
0 -
You have access to their entire post histories.
Never feel bad about drawing your own conclusions based on what you see ;3
0 -
You want to be able to stop all gens from being done AND chase down + hook 1 survivor.
And when failing to do so, because yea ofc not going to happen. You defend NOED being in the game since those pesky survivors are doing their objective.
And.
This is why this forum is pointless and needs more moderation. These "discussions" are no good.
0 -
Why are you avoiding my question and going off on a tangent about moderation?
0 -
You're a classic surv main just as I'm a classic killer "main" (50/50 player here). You assume m1 killers can travel the map after seeing two different survs working on two different gens and stop that. It is IMPOSSIBLE to stop that.
Killers do not want "easy wins" we want fair matches.
1 -
I've not only seen there history but i've seen them in action. They want attention. I refuse to give it.
0 -
Okay at least you are being more civil.
Now then, your post looks okay ON THE SURFACE. But lets dive a bit deeper. Yes, 80 seconds is by yourself.... with NO toolboxes, Perks, or Great Skill checks. You got the numbers off the Wiki, i assume, and that's how I know the rest. In fact the direct quote is " Fully repairing a Generator without the help of a Toolbox, Perks and other Survivors takes 80 seconds, assuming that no Great Skill Checks are succeeded and none failed" and you can find that on the Wiki.
Now, I don't even know where you got "Multiple hooks" outta that, or the idea that in that time you can "Kill" one Survivor. Maybe hook, so I get it if you mean that. But some Survivors are VERY VERY Good at chases. Or perhaps you have a low mobility Killer, or a map against you. You can't just assume that in that time you will hook one or more survivors.
You are also mot taking into the account that you will have to patrol MORE than one gen and on some maps they are WAY outta the way from each other. I've never, not even ONCE seen someone at the first gen I went too.
Now Corrupt i'll give you, I love that perk I use it on Legion ALL the time. But Pop REQUIRES you to hook someone and then get to the gen BEFORE it goes away to do ANYTHING. When it works it's amazing, but you can't always get that Pop across the map before the timer end or the gen pops. Like even The Game map would mess you up if you didn't get to that right gen at the right level at the right time.
Tinkerer, yay, I can see that gen way over there about to pop and have no TR. Will I got there? Sure. Will I be able to do anything about it? maybe. What if i see Multiple gens activate Tinkerer at once? What if they have toolboxes? Once again, you can't just assume it will help. Heck many people I know think Tinkerer sucks.
And lastly, Surveillance. Looks good on paper. It will help you IF you regress the gen in the first place and can GET to the gen when you see the color change. I'd pair it with Surge and perhaps Thrilling myself.
Now, if you can reply to that in a civil manner, i'll have no issues with you, seeing as you were civil on my own thread. But I hope you can see it's not as easy as "APPLY MORE PRESSSURE" cause about half the roster has a HARD time doing it unless the person playing it is a God at said character.
Thank you for reading all of this, if you did. Have fun in the Fog

Also no, this has nothing to do with you. I've seen them in other places, talking to other people. It's literally pointless. Go look at there posts if you don't believe me.
0 -
"don't chase for more than 40 seconds" lmao So I should drop chase against any half decent survivor then spend another 15-30 seconds finding another survivor and if they're good drop that chase too? what?
0 -
Some people are never going to be playing the same game as you, if you catch my drift.
I'm teaching some friends how to play and loop in KYF, and we're using 40s as a minimum goal.
0 -
No, you are doing an awesome job. Keep chasing them, keep wasting time. At least you are a nice example of what you aren't supposed to do
0 -
But no reply to me?
0 -
Alright, i'll keep an eye out. But it's not good you chose to belittle them, and not debate my valid points.
0 -
You only read half the post, or reply to it. U got ur answer.
