Furtive chase rework

Everyone know furtive chase is situational at best, I thought why not make it so it keeps the obsession changing aspect but makes it so that every time you hook your obsession you lose your red stain for 20-25-30 seconds. It’s just an idea but I’d like to hear some feedback.

Maybe it gradually decreases the visibility of the red stain so then it isnt as situational?

Maybe it can make your red stain shorter with every stack, one stack will reduce the range of your red stain by 25 %. At 4 stacks it will be completly invisible in a chase.

I don't know about a rework. I've actually mind-gamed survivors in loops that thought I gave up chase due to the heart beat being faint. A good thing about the perk is that you could chase someone, and they could run into another survivor that wouldn't be prepared for a suddenly very close killer. Let's not forget Myers gets the best out of this perk as he can just eliminate his terror radius by chasing someone, making a tier 3 with all 4 stacks scary.

Why not do both? It's extremely difficult to gain stacks in a normal match without making things more difficult for yourself, why not just have the reduced TR along with reduced Red Stain. It's not like either is going to make a significant difference in matches compared to other, more meta perks.

I love stealth killers, and stealth perks intrigue me, but the cost and difficulty of the perk outweigh the potential benefits.
