EMBLEM SYSTEM ADJUSTMENTS

Can you please adjust the Emblem System so it actually rewards good plays instead of inefficient, prolonged and boring farm matches?

I'm not just talking about Trapper traps and Hillbilly chainsaws (and all other insta-downs) but also the perks that reward good playstyles but fun fact, you get punished for those by the Emblem System.

I just had a game with my freshly prestiged Wraith with Overcharge 2, Pop Goes The Weasel 1 and Devour Hope 1.

3 gens popped before I even got my 2nd hook but by playing smart and efficient, I managed to keep the pressure and ended up getting 5 token Devour Hope before they finished the last 2 gens. So after my non-camped, required hooks I killed them all and the result?

Result? I BARELY safety pipped.

It's demoralising and it's time to finally adress these issues. the Emblem System decides who gets to high rank and who sticks in low ranks - it ultimately decides how (un)balanced the matches are. I'm a typical Rank 1 Killer (call me tryhard) that once again got stuck in Rank 10 because I simply won't pip by just playing the game. I HAVE to farm with them and prolong, but I don't have time nor nerves for that.

    Absolutely. I think the Emblem System is fine for Survivors, but for Killer, it's terrible. All it does is promote farming. You could be the best Killer in the game, and down all 4 Survivors in the first 2 minutes, and the game punishes you for that.

    I think it should give you 1 bar for each DC in the bottom so if 4 people DC its at least a safety pip. 3 people DC? You can still get a good chase out of the last one. 2 people DC? You need to work a tiny bit harder, but you can still get a safety pip. 1 DC? You need to work harder to get it, but there is more survivors to get a safety pip

    I don't think the system isn't fine for either of the sides. It encourages farming on others for survivors. The more YOLO saves you do, the more likely you gonna pip. Doing gens or playing stealthy gives you zero progress.

    I strongly believe we need a new system that distributes emblems according to job done in that trial. Not based on like 32000 point of perfect game.
