The survivors POV camera placement

As we all know killers camera is locked in FPP and survivor can spin the camera all around the place.
This causes survivors to be able to see through almost all kind of environment elements, which allows all kind of loops to be performed perfectly and removing all kind of ambush possiblility away from the game and killers whos ability is designed for ambushing automatically go down in ranking.

How about making the camera for survivors a bit lower and make them unable to turn it around unless they are standing still?
Doing any kind of action like fixing a gen on cleansing a totem would lock the camera in place so they can't look around and see killer around the corner behind them.

Was that kind of idea ever tried by the devs?

No that would require some effort and usually devs take the lazy way

I've said multiple times that the 3rd person view removes effectively any scary aspects

This would be so good for the game.. since their doing ptb's more frequently I feel they should test so much more

Actually this is a really good idea. Survivors were always talking about "juking them", but how can you juke, if they see you through the obstacles, but you do not see them?

Lower camera for them and incapability to turn the camera during the move, of FPP camera for them.

It's easy, they did it in Souls at Stakes they can easily implement it onto Dead by Daylight

mind games will become real, unlike now where you just follow the Redlight

DBD will become a true horror game and scary

The game is perfect except for the killer's pov. It's really annoying to have such a view. As a killer, you have to run after survivors and catch them, but to be able to see a survivor, killer has to walk back rather than chase them. It's some kinda bug that when a survivor gets close to a killer, the killer cannot see him. Please fix it, because it's ridiculous, for a survivor, to get close to the killer in order to escape.

I like the idea as it is now there's no sense of immersion

I think that they should shift the focus from being having visual awareness to audio awareness. Make doing gens keep the camera on the gens and increase the sounds made by killers especially ones that can have zero TR like MIchael. This might require some adjustment, especially with how tinkerer is currently.
