please rework this game entirely.
It is getting tiring having 2 out of 4 survivors dc immediately after being hooked an losing rank because of it. Needs to be changed. if they are hooked it needs to count as a sacrifice if they dc, arguably as soon as i pick them up, if they dc there character should remain in game until after sacrificed. We should not be punished for this childish behavior. literally dropped from 1 pip away from rank rank 14 to rank 16 at 0 pips cuz every match I am playing is against these losers who just dc as soon as you hook them.
than the other 2 survivors use foul racist disgusting trashy language. Just remove chat entirely. A thumbs up or generic responses is all these people can handle.
start punishing them more severely for diong this. Obviously the punishments are not severe enough if people are doing it basically every single bleepin game. I basically just rage quit myself as soon as the first survivor dcs at this point, cuz whats the point, i'm just going to get -1 regardless.

You're right though, they should rework like 75% of dbd's base mechanics, they're not the best.

Punishments for DCs are not fully realised but they're definitely in the works. That's one of the reasons why they're trying to get dedicated servers functional, because it allows them to monitor things like that much more closely and punish people more reliably.
If people are being abusive in post game chat, report them. I don't know precisely how they handle tickets, but I do know that they can view the chat logs, and abuse in postgame is bannable.

honestly the toxic behaviour is one thing, but the rage quitting is horrid. I hope people don't do this at higher ranks. it's basically an every game occurence. quite pathetic.
