Vaulting and Pallets
First off, I think removing vacuum pallets was a good move. Well done. However, now there's too much leeway for killers to get a hit on a survivor. If a killer gets stunned by the pallet, there's no reason the survivor should take a hit as well as there's now a pallet in the way. This is assuming they both reach the pallet at the same time, of course, meaning killers should be able to hit a survivor and THEN get stunned when the pallet is thrown.
The vaulting is a little ridiculous as a killer can hit a survivor on the other side of a window even after their feet hit the ground. Billy chainsawing 5 m through the window is a probably too much don't you think?
What I'm asking is to revisit the hitboxes a little. Maybe a survivor should be able to escape a hit when they're 90% across the pallet slide or window vault vs 110% across. Especially in a game that lag can play a part due to a myriad of different killer connections.
Thanks for reading. I'm just starting to think instead of balancing the game, we've done a 180 of nerfing the heck out of survivors instead of empowering killers a bit to even things out.

AFAIK, the pallets are currently the way that you are describing, where the killer hits first, then gets stunned. However, due to lagg, it might not look like this to the survivor. The killer is the host, and only what he sees matters.

Pallets are fine in the current state. You very likely misjudge and greed on dropping a pallet, or play against someone laggy.
Hitting through a vault is actually very consistent. The distance can be easily estimated with some experience.

As Runiver said, it’s either player error or a laggy killer. The hit distance is very consistent and easily pre determined with experience. This isn’t a game issue.0

Eh, only problem with pallets now is that they feel too slow to me. Which is why you get hit through them.

Windows are open spaces that can fit an entire person through them (including the Killers) So I don't see why taking a hit through one is such a problem. Have you ever used your arms to reach out for something?
