tombstone piece not working?
ok, so i'm not main killer but i thought i'd go back and give myers another go, on ps4. i had 3 tombstone pieces, first one forgot i had it and hooked (unless it wasn't working then either and made me forget). second and 3rd pieces r2 button never came up as option. i'm standing very close waking all around survivors and nothing. i am right in thinking i should be able to kill with hand? wasted 3 good add ons! also to damage gen takes ages to pop too.

You press the M1 in Tier lll with the tombstone piece added to mori them yes. You do this while they're standing in the injured or healthy state and you do it literally right next to them like right on top of them... than the prompt comes up that literally says "Kill" on it to use your basic attack in Tier lll to kill them (Again, tapping the button not holding it down)
M1, R2, whatever the basic attack is (Not his power which is the stalking mechanic)

Lemme know how it goes, again it needs to be literally right on-top of them not like lagging behind a fair bit or almost on top of them...
It needs to be literally RIGHT behind them with no room to spare.

It could've just been bugged for that specific match. I can't exactly say if its bugged in-general until you try it out again or something.
Maybe @GrootDude or @Boosted_Dwight knows a bit more on if the console version of tombstone is bugged in-general. Otherwise I think it was a one off thing.

In the mean time @bomb1720 while we wait for those two, were you in Tier lll those 3 separate times? And did you tap the M1 or to your equivalent on console the R2 button to use your basic attack?
It's not a lunge so you don't hold it down, you just tap it for a basic attack. Or is R2 the stalk button? (Aka the Killers power button)

yeah, i definitely was in tier 3, lol, stupid of me to ask if i wasn't. prety sure it's suposed to be r2 button for ps4, but what ever button it is, never gave me option, just to pick up. 😊

To pick up? So you down them and than you attempt to use the tombstone to mori them?
Because... it doesn't work when they're downed, it only lets you mori them when they're either healthy or injured and you do it RIGHT next to them by tapping your basic attack in Tier lll.

yes you are right and thanks for reminding me. the thing is i press the hit button and they are not killed, i forgot it did that, which made me think it was used like a mori.

rofl... i'm a bit confused now... hahaha
basically i was on tier 3, pressed the hit button and it never kills survivor, which made me forget that he holds survivor by the neck and stabs them. they drop on floor which made me think it was used as a mori (my mistake).
to make tombstone piece work all you have to do is press the hit button or am i wrong? cos it ain't working for me.

Survivor must be standing. Are you holding the hit button? You just have to tap it.

they are standing at the time, it just slashes them, no kill?

Yep. Equip the Tombstone, get up to tier 3 Evil and then simply tap the hit button near a standing survivor.
