So silly to lose addons after escaping now
Am I the only one who finds it kinda silly? I'm bursting down my addons like nothing even tho I escape. I'm sitting on a bunch of items but without good addons anymore lol.
It's even better to die with a white ward than actually escaping. The hell is this logic?
Wasnt the whole idea why survivors keep their addons after escaping because they will lose more if they die (item+addons) and also earn less bloodpoints in general than killers?
At least you should only 1 addon, not both when escaping.

Should killer get to keep their addons? Did you make a post regarding that prior to you losing them on survivor? I love the hypocrisy

Oh no I went through a door and dropped my scissors and bandages.
I used to be so good at holding on to them but now they just slip through my fingers!
(I mean sure, it puts the consume into consumable and we're supposed to see them as such, but that band aid icon had a heart. It had a future.)

Don't act smart when u aren't lol. It would be hypocrisy if I said "but killer should lose them" but I made no statement in this post.
In fact, in previous discussion I already made the suggestion that killers should keep their addons when they 4k.

Let's be realistic here, who runs out of addons as killer? On my main killers have can use green and and purple aaaall the time, I never run out of them. Only reds are sometimes empty. But for that I have 100+ black wards to use if I want to. The amount of bloodpoints I get from one match brings me more addons back than I actually consumed. While as survivor Im scratching the 20k mark barely even after escaping and playing flawlessly the entire match.

Fair, counterpoint. Survivor addons are universal in utility, killers are not.
Now I'm an addons less killer main, but if I want to use a Trapper sack and I'm out on Trapper, I can't just switch killers to get the same effect. Meanwhile if I want to use a BNP and I'm out on Yui, I can go to any other survivor I have leveled up.

I think it makes no sense to lose addons if you survive either,
the difference:
Killer - your add-ons are to aid you in hunting and killing survivors, there's no "winning" for the killer only the survivor. (4k feels like winning but that's not what the devs originally intended for the game), killer also doesn't take a risk running add-ons no one can kill them, so yes they should lose their add-ons
Survivor - Taking a risk to potentially lose everything they're using from the start, killers have the power to end us with mori's, noed, tunneling camping, slugging. Killers also see what you're running and can adjust their loadout before the start of a game to counter you.
SO YES I THINK WE DESERVE TO KEEP OUR ADD-ONS!!!!

Also, bloodpoint making is not viable reason to keep your addons.
Killer and survivor share same bloodpoint pool. You need points for survivor? Killer makes more? Play killer and spend them on survivor. You play only survivor? Well, that's your choice. But that doesn't mean they have to cater to "mains" because they feel entitled.

I would be okay with it if survivors had less addons, or at least more useful addons. There are way too many worthless addons right now.

Killers tend to require this ######### for base kit. Killers with their base power is usually incredibly slow, hindered (Trapper without bags), or damn near useless.
You require addons for convenience.

Yup I agree, instead of removing survivor addons, they should have just let killers have the option to keep theirs (say if they get at least a 3k or if they double pip). This new survivor change is really dumb seeing as just ONE survivor has triple the addons a killer has, not to mention they have way more clutter in their bloodwebs.

It doesn’t equate though, killers have like what, 15 total addons that can be obtained far easier due to their less cluttered bloodwebs. Survivors have triple that in addition to items, and that’s if you just count one survivor, trying to do EVERY survivor (or hell just 3 of them) is ridiculous. Also seeing as how you taking someone else’s item means you won’t get it’s addons, you’re going to get even less because now the only way to get them is in a bloodweb where you can literally waste 500k and only get one addon you want.

I don't see the point of counting every survivor to make it seem as if it's so bad for survivors. So you can level more than one survivor at a time. Well guess what, you can also level more than one killer at a time, and killers also don't share add-ons and offerings. And most killer add-ons and a bunch of their offerings are garbage, but they're all wasted after a game, no matter if the killer wins or loses. It just makes things more balanced that way that's all.

The "making it more fair" argument is dumb because it already is far easier to get those good addons on killer. If you read my previous post at all, you would have know that I am FOR killers having the ability to keep their addons through just playing the game regularly. Idk how you think survivors have shared addons, but they don't each survivor has his/her own addon pool that is far bigger than any killer; just getting one addon you want (I mean yellow and above) is a crazy waste of points that I could have spent leveling another survivor or getting a whole bunch of killer addons that I want. Survivors have equally as many bad offerings as killers do, but the only thing killers get are offerings and addons (which is from a MUCH smaller addon pool, meaning they can get what they want easily). Killers also have a much larger point gain (even if they do badly in a match) meaning that those lost addons can be easily bought back, so it balances itself out.

Yes, thats what I'm arguing, but it should be tied to emblems, not kills. If it was, an Iri Huntress would be really hard pressed to keep that addon; plus they're going to nerf it sometime in the future so that situation would become a non-issue.

Didn't say survivors had shared add-ons pool.. sorry if it sounded that way when I mentionned the fact that killers didn't share add-ons between them, it was a counter-argument to your argument about leveling 3 separate survivors.. which is your choice, not a problem with the game's design.
I do agree that getting points on survivor is much harder than killer. I'm all for an increase in how many bloodpoints different survivor actions give, or having more ways to gain points, to both level faster and get more stuff from the bloodwebs.

and of course killers should get more bp, because every killer is different, so u need to spend bp if u want some variety.
survivors are just different cosmetics so u can spend all ur bp on one survivor, without missing something.

If you want to get survivors teachables you have to level them (trying to wait on the RNG of the shrine to get a complete perk setup is far too random and time-consuming to be consistent). Sure you don't HAVE to play them after you get to level 40, but the amount that you would have put into just a singular survivor to get every item and addon you want is far greater than trying to level a killer in the same way. On top of that, that's just getting a couple of the addons you want, if you want to get a stockpile of them, you have to have several thousands of hours to do so which is not optimal. Also seeing as how you can no longer take other peoples addons with you now have no way to get the stuff you actually want without wasting countless bloodweb points. Sure it still exists on killer, but it is not NEARLY as bad and I can almost always double what I had before after one killer match. It's not even comparable nor is it "more fair" now that they lose their addons too, even if the escape and even if they don't use the item once.

Then level only one survivor? Survivors are honestly interchangeable. They have no special powers, only perks that you can learn and distribute to everyone else. One you learned all the perks, max out that one survivor and put everything into him.

No they don't have special powers, but they all sound and look different, which impacts more than you might think. Not to mention playing the same character over and over again gets really boring after a while. Same goes for killer, if I play the same killer I get bored out of my mind, I need some diversity in there; and at least I can really easily get what I want for killer, survivor doesn't have that same luck.

I have no problem with survivors losing their add-ons. But now I have a problem with the fact that they have to pay and can lose their items.

Your logic only applies to killers because they have different power and the comparisons between the two aren't a thing. I play Jake Park all the time, never get bored. If I do, I change his perks to try a different play style.

I'm well aware of how time consuming it can be to get teachables, I have them all unlocked on everyone on both sides, and a few on each side fully maxed out at prestige 3 with all perks (minus the two that came out today, obviously)
But yeah, if you pick one character to level and just put points into that one, you won't run out of items/add-ons unless you stop spending points on that character and use them to level someone else. But that, too, is on you. I have some survivors I play because I like them more than others that are out of good offerings, but it's my fault for dumping the points into other characters, you don't see me bitching and moaning about it.

Im all for it, its perfect, Items should have less and less impact on the overall game. You don’t have to worry about losing the item itself unless death occurs, and if you really care about the add ons then use ace in the hole. Killers where so used to Ruin and then it got overhauled. Survivors deserve a little change as well. I see this as a absolute win.

Do killers earn more points overall easier ? Is BBQ one of the most if not the the most used perk since it is very very convenient for majority of the killers ? Do killers have 20 addons and no items to spend points on while survivors have 50+ addons plus a lot of items PLUS a lot more offerings ? I love the hypocrisy ....
And just for the record making changes to the survivors just because the killers feel unhappy about their addons is the dumbest thing in general. This is not how you deal with the problem since on the survivor side literally nobody had a problem with that. It wasthe freaking killers who wanted to keep their addons from time to time and instead we get this ..... Imagine survivors asking their BP to get buffed and istead they nerf the BP all killers can get and all survivors beeing happy about it cause that is fair since they get that amount

Why would you bring an addon/item in a game if you have ace in the hole ? If you can answer that you will understand how irrelevant that change is. The whole point of ace is to FIND an addon. Ace still wont help you if u die which should and will happen half the time minimum not to mention you will lose the item too

You can't do that because you need addons/perks for that killer too. You have to spend points on the killer too ... It is not that easy as you make it sound

I actually think survivors should lose their addons, but they should also get more BPs to compensate. It would smooth out the grind for both sides, you will have more BPs to grind out your perk unlocks as a survivor, and then have enough to replace your lost addons the way killers do.
They prob should also give WGLF a bit of a buff. (Maybe show you the killers aura for 3 seconds when you perform an unhook, the same way killers get to see YOUR aura when performing a hook via BBQ)
One of the main reasons i hate playing survivor is that its much harder to learn and much more perk reliant than killer, and then you get like half the BPs than the killer even when you have a decent game.

I play the game since it's release and have multiple killers on p3, 1 p3 fully perked survivor and 3 others on p3 and don't have a shortage of survivor items/addons and killer addons.

Absolute win in what way? To see less addons used in the future? I have to disappoint you, people with enough hrs will keep bringing good addons for a long time because the stockedpiled a lot already.
