Can we make NOED a offering
Here me out I know killer main and even good survivors say this is stupid and a bait but NOED as we all know is a killers best friend POINT BLANK PERIOD. If it’s an offering is won’t be as oppressive and it work be seen in every game due to it being and offering. Making it an offering would have the killer not being able to use extra blood points or have a helping offering like putrid oak.

It's a hex, most killers can't be defensive around their totems, you can easily counter it by small game or find it luckily through hearing the burning totem, quit whining and move on.

Do the bones.

Except the Perk is poor in design and needs reworking.
It punishes Survivors for the wrong reasons, and feels weak for the Killer until active then proceeds to feel cheap.
It needs to be changed so Survivors who do side objectives aren’t heavily punished, but give Killer’s something in return whilst the Perk is inactive.

LOL...so instead of killers have putrid oak...they would have 4 perks and NOED? Hard pass. 😂 Bring on the oak!

It dont need a change. Its easy to conter by just cleansing all totem, which is pretty easy.
If you genrush, its your problem but then dont complain about it.
We could also say perks like DS is on a poor design because if we only find the guy with DS or the guy with DS abuse it its NOT tunneling.

Gonna say this really quick. I feel the perk is fine, does just what its supposed to. An all or nothing end game perk that has 2 functions.
1. Slow the game down by making survivors ( All surviviors in the challenge) break dull totems and spending a little time off generators.
2. Enables the killer to have a bit of a boost in the endgame once generators are completed.
I get that it sucks if you do totems and other people dont, but after the generators are done, it lights up like any other hex perk. I seem to recall one of the complaints about totems being that once they are up they dont last 30 seconds?
So why is it that NOED is so toxic and hated when even once its active, you just do a quick sweep find the totem break it and you are done.
On this last point correct me if im wrong but, everyone seems to want to talk about this game as a 4v1 team game until 2 main issues pop up. SWF and NOED. If its 4 solos, just get in the habit of breaking 1-2 totems a match. If everyone does it you will see NOED activating less and less.

Yes because it is wrong to punish survivors for doing totems. A secondary objective.

It’s a green rank killers best friend.. red rank killers rarely use noed. For a reason...

If we make it an offering it will be even more reason for people to dc when they can't see an offering the killer brought.

As a survivor main, I can honestly say I don't run into NoED NEARLY as often as the people on the forum do. What with having Mori's every game too.
IF I decide to play killer NoED is something I'd use to buff my endgame, but only on killers with little to no map pressure. So NoED on Doctor, Billy, Nurse etc, seems silly to me.

If we make it an offering then every killer will use 4 perks and this offering

shh

Pretty simple just do bones with inner strength or detective hutch... if you irritated..
why make No ED a offering ? where I can put red mori then ?
My personal opinion... No ED and old Ruin should be a normal perk. ( which I think new ruin is Irksome )

"NOED is a killers best friend". Holy shite, ######### is that statement.
I really hope this is bait or you are very new to the game. NOED is a really, really bad perk. Mostly because it's extremely powerful and completely unearned. I'm all for late-game powerups but NOED is just an excuse to get away with facecamping and/or getting kills you genuinely don't deserve. This is how most NOED games go (from my experience as a survivor): awful long chase (because the killer just eats pallets and doesn't mindgame), eventual down, hook, softcamp, survivor dies, gates powered, NOED, easy down, hook, facecamp, 2 kills. It is literally the same as a meta survivor perk, you play like an absolute wanker and get it for free. So dumb. At least SWF teams can disable it without throwing the game.
And that's without the detrimental effect it has on killer players that use it. Holy shite, your skill level will drop quick as you rely on your dumb perk. Congrats, you use a crutch. You're just like a survivor main.

Do bones. Plus if it was an offering it would have NO counter. I kinda doubt you would like that.

It punishes survivors for focusing too much on generators and forces a Killer to play with 3 perks for the vast majority of the game, the whole game if survivors do bones. I think that's pretty balanced

Once you get out of the low ranks NOED starts getting used in proper engame builds, which actually makes for an interesting game. If the survivors don't pop totems, that's on them, it's not the Killer's fault

I'm always glad to see people try to make the game better. But honestly no, and here's why.
1. Gen speeds will never be changed and they shouldn't but large maps are a problem
2. In accordance with the 1st point not every killer has great map pressure especially with with good or decent loopers
3. Nerfing ruin, alot of people didn't complain about NOED until this happened why? Because ruin dealt with the 1st two issues. Typically survivors would get annoyed look for the ruin and gen speeds were slowed.
Most killers are M1 based or their power can be affected by the survivors choice/actions

Gen speeds are actively getting changed right now? 🤔
1 -
To my knowledge its when multiple survivors are on a gen, i may have not understood their timing correctly but if 3 or 4 survivors are on a gen its pretty much wasted time. But the speed is still to be 80 sec with smaller maps hopefully that sticks but any thing can change during from ptb to the actual update

Can we make DS,adrenaline, borroe time and all the other second chance perk an offering because all those second cha ce perk a survivor best friend and you got them in almost all your build
0 -
NOED can be used for other purposes than just getting cheap kills (as you call it). It can be used as a surprise perk, the centerpiece in an endgame build, or used to round out a build you are testing.
It is less of a crutch and more of a backup plan. If at first I dont succeed, at least I have a reason to keep trying. It is why I love Rancor right now. With gens going so quickly, I need some reason to stay and continue playing.

Don't even try to use the 'cleanse dulls' excuse, please. That's as lame as the 'dont tunnel and you won't get DS'd' excuse. Such a power spike should be on you to earn, not someone else to avoid. You don't even have to touch your keyboard/controller and it activates. I know, I've done it before. Its so dumb.
And I have yet to see a red rank killer actually run an endgame build that ever works. They are the definition of meme builds. The moment most good survivors see NOED, they just leave. Good luck getting Bloodwarden value when the only person left is the one on your shoulder. Maybe that is a regional thing, though, because I have seen NA content creators somehow have people not leave the match and get Bloodwardened.
Long story short? The power of NOED is fine. Endgame perks are fine. The fact NOED is earned by AFK'ing is not okay. Fire Up is the power level such afk-able perks should be at, not NOED.

I'd argue BBQ is a killers best friend, I mean how else am I going to grind those BPs? NOED only gets used if I'm making a all 1 hit down gimmick build.

You can't whine about a perk being OP while refusing to utilize the counterplay. That's not how it works.
1 -
Same goes for DS.
0 -
It would make it today where NOED actually gets used since its totem gets broken before it spawns 80% of the time.
0 -
I don't have much issue with DS tbh, the only thing I really want changed is to make it deactivate if you get in a locker or do objectives
1 -
Also as a followup, almost every second chance perk for survivors also happens to trigger by failing or idling. BT is literally the only second chance perk that requires skillfull play
DS needs you to get hooked=you failed a chase
DH needs you injured=you failed a chase
Unbreakable needs you down=you failed a chase
Adrenaline you can literally sit on your ass and get it assuming your teammates are sentient
At least BT requires you to unhook the survivor without getting grabbed or downed

We are of the same mind on this, I think the only thing wrong with DS is that you can get free objective progress from it.

Sadly that seems difficult to understand.

Cleansing dulls is not good counterplay. Most games you will throw cleansing 4-5 dulls and wasting a shitload of time only to get sacrificed at 3 gens and see the killer didn't even have noed. 'Cleanse dulls' is the same lame, BS excuse as 'dont tunnel' or 'apply pressure'.
And guess what, NOED is BS because it's unearned. It shouldn't have 'counterplay' (throwing the game to cleanse all 5 dulls), it should be earned. It is literally the definition of a survivor meta perk: you fail your way into its arms to get some undeserved kills. Except it's a killer perk. It's so stupid.
How's about you go into a red-rank game, as a solo player, and sacrifice one of your info perks for a totem tracker. To prevent someone from getting a powerspike they didn't earn. And die because you are trying to cleanse all 5 dulls against a killer that's actually good and doesn't use NOED, thus having all 4 perks available to kick your arse because you are wasting time doing totems instead of gens.
