Respect the killer and leave

If the doors are already opened and there is nothing to do in the game, just leave. Don't waste killers time by waiting until the countdown is almost over, just to T-bag him in the exit.

Can't see the point on that specially against a killer that played with the "surivor's rulebook for killers", without camping, tunneling, using noed, etc.

I get you want to get the attention you don't recieve in your life, I guess its fine, but if you are toxic with the killer don't expect the killer to be nice with you.

Force them out. If you dont want to do this, it's your fault for wasting your time.

Nah that's weak and just prolongs the game. What are you guys scared your feelings will get hurt? Because that's the message you send. I always show up and escort them out when that happens. Just play along and give them that close escape from the monster they so desperately crave. Who knows, you may even end up bagging one. Got me a dwight dancing at the line with a perfect nurse blink once.

It's a way to feel superior. Like rubbing salt into a wound knowing they can't get you. Just people being the real monsters.

When I know people are safe and out I nab some points, take a leak and grab a snack. Usually they waste their own time then lol.

Yeah true, it does give extra chase points for both sides and you have a slight chance at catching someone which is pretty exciting lol. Op should give it a try sometime.

Just go to the other side of the map. Sometimes they get overconfident which will give you a chance to get a kill or 2.

I don't leave until everybody is out. If you want me go out you force me out.

Except with most killers they'll have Chase maxed out by that point, and holding their hand out the gate isn't worth the additional 100-200 points for getting a hit when they could just, you know, leave.

lol and they say survivors give killers too many rules.

How is this not a solution? If a survivor is waiting at the exit gate and tbagging, just walk up and hit them twice and you're done with the match...

While we are at it, can we also respect survivors and just hook them instead for slugging for the 4K?

just kill me when I am second to last and on death hook. I don’t want to lie down and watch the killer patrol me (so unbreakable wouldn’t help) and the last surv crouching somewhere on the other end of the map.

why is it legit though but staying at gate to get more points or even help distract killer for other survivors still in match is considered toxic? You can still get a 4K even without slugging the 3rd.

both scenarios are totally valid and within the rules of the game. The difference is you want to do the one thing (that is pretty much mocking the one getting slugged) but you don’t want the other thing done to you (because in this case you are the one getting mocked)

If the killer wasn’t sweaty, I’ll wait to give them extra points (free hits, extra points, use ability for more points, etc). However, the second you try to walk up on my side to flip me back, tsk tsk, I’ll bounce and no points for you

Just hit them out, or stay and find a way to get some extra blood points before you have to go. Its typical behavior for survivors to teabag or flashlight at the exit gates so you gotta get used to that being the case most if not all your matches. However, there are times when you get can that cocky survivor downed because they didnt leave and were not close enough to the actual exit zone giving you an extra kill. Happened to me before could even happen to you if your lucky.

We are talking about the situation where survivors have nothing more to do. Of course if there is someone hooked or there is still some objective in the game its totally legit to stay there.

I'm talking about the situation where, for example, 3 survivors escaped and the last one is standing there just to t-bag, flashlight click or something.

It's funny that u say this. So when killer kills u by camping or tunneling u come back to this comment. "It's the killer doing his main objective"

Slugging leaves Survivors with a chance to escape. Unbreakable or Soul Guard allows the slugged to get themselves up. When the Killer is off looking for the 4th that Survivor can sneak past to heal the slugged or work the final gen/s for a possible Adrenaline play. There is also the hatch to deal with. The slugged Survivor can simply crawl away as well.

A Killer slugging for a 4k doesn't mean the game is over. There are multiple ways to counter slugging in perks or strats.

Someone sitting at the escape line doesn't have any counter. The game is for a fact over at that point as NO Killer has the means to fight against that. Deathslinger is the only Killer that can even have a chance at countering that, and it is only if the Survivor is wounded AND allows Deathslinger to get close enough. Blood Warden is the only Killer perk that can counter an open gate, and that only triggers after a gate is open AND the Killer lands a hook.

That's the difference. Slugging doesn't mean the game is over and has counters any Survivor can use regardless of build or character at any point in the game. Sitting at a gate does mean the game is over and almost no Killer or perk can do anything about it.

Sitting at a gate is used the vast majority of the time as pure BM. A final chance to say "######### you" and nothing more.

We ligit dont give survivors rules. We just hate ds and would like if u guys could not waste everybody's time dancing at the door. Survivors have a whole encyclopedia of rules for killers and all we say is hate ds for its "anti-tunnel crap", some killers say genrush, and for u guys to just leave instead of butt dancing but ok

I agree that survivors should leave, if the gates are open and the other survivors are safe, just go. Most times, as both survivor and killer, I just see people waiting there to t-bag the killer, which is toxic. Just leave and go find another match.

You might as well delete the thread, man. Although I and anyone with good sense and empathy would agree that the scenario you're speaking of is annoying and unnecessarily bad mannered, most of the survivor players here are lacking in that..

I mean, how much self awareness does it take to at least admit "ok, that's kind of a dick move to intentionally stay at the gate to teabag and flashlight at the gate...

Unfortunately, for alot of survivor only players, that's the most expression of skill they get to display, so it's very hard for them not to justify it by any means (be it move the goalpost "Oh I stay to make sure everyone leaves", association fallacy "camping and tunneling = BMing at endgame because RULEBOOK" or implicit compliance "Hey, I do that all the time and I'm not an #########, so you must be the #########")

There are legitimate reasons to stay behind at times... Really only two tbh, when someone is on hook or an injured survivor is in chase by EGC, it makes sense to make sure they get out.

But by this same coin, how many survivors now a days open the exit gates BEFORE they are fairly sure everyone is safe? They 99 the gate to avoid BW, most survivors now a days do this.

In the end, you can pretty much always expect it to happen. They will sit there until the very end of the clock, literally waiting for the teabag and leave before you can even get a hit point. If you're a range killer they'll try to play around your shot, knowing you can't get to them in time anyway, and leave if you approach.
