Remember guys, NOED is for bad killers...

If you think "press E to win after making a mistake" is fine I dunno what to tell you.
0 -
Yep. Basically a third health state.
0 -
Hmm, break dull totems instead of gen rushing?
Especially vs killers that often run NOED. Seems like a good counter.
Use the brain to identify which perks the killer is probably running. Decide if you should break totems before focusing gens.

What is this that I am reading...?
Something with an.... actual common sense?! And is logical!
No way!
Thank you for existing.
Edit: On expressing it poorly: Because I am convinced those survivor mains are just toxic griefers that are not even willing to listen, but they project their toxicity into Killers and they don't see that they are just some spoiled entitled e-bullies dictating how people can play a video game that they paid for, in their own leisure time.
But let me emphasize one last time: NO, using NOED/Mori/Iri Heads/Tunneling/Camping/Slugging is NOT toxic at all, and do not mean you are a bad (or good) killer again, or a toxic person. Because that's just stupid as they are just techniques and strategies that you can (and should) utilize.
0 -
Noed isn't even a good perk. You'll get a free down and everyone will leave. I would run it if it was better.
0 -
Super true but survivors are whiny cry babies and we all know it, and they go on to bully players online on how they should play a video game and that they are "toxic" (the irony) people.
0 -
I agree but regardless:
Bullying people online who play a video game is not okay at all. Calling them "toxic" for utilizing in-game strategies or "bad players" is the pure definition of griefing and, well, being toxic.

Hahahahha, funny chat.
0 -
As a survivor main i think we need to stop shaming people on both sides for using things that might be considered "crutch" i hate that people will say that people who us noed or ds are bad at the game
3 -
People were already hating on meta perks on survivors, they weren't "fine". Gj pushing your narrative mate.
0 -
Same goes for killers jsyk
0 -
Words of wisdom and truth.
0 -
Besides, why shouldn't killers camp/tunnel/slug anyways?
0 -
If you win you're bad. If you lose you're bad. I've been trolled for actually not 3rd hooking survivors. Yes, in a match where I completely dominated the map, I let people farm and was trolled for days over it.
My advice: Either you enjoy the game or you find something else to do. There are literally thousands of other options. Play how you want and ignore chat. Living your life to please others is futile.
0 -
Well rank is supposedly meaningless, so there is that. ;)
NOED slows me down. It doesn't matter how I get the 4k. Rarely is anyone happy about it, except me.
0 -
Exactly this, this is the message I hope to deliver to killers.
Only way survivors are pleased is when you give them a free win, but even then you never know..
1 -
They all are legit techniques and I do not know what's scummy about it.
Example: Survivors gen rush until last drop before unhooking survivor, you damn right I will camp him.
But yes, DS/BT in their current state are not anti tunnel/camp.
0 -
Remove Adrenaline from the game then we can talk about changing NOED.
0 -
True brother, true...
But what about DS/DH/SB/Self-Care/BT etc. etc.?
0 -
That's completely bullshit.
How do i don't deserv a kill just because i have a perk that don't has value 95% of the time? i played almost 10 matchs as huntress with noed and got the game ending with 4 slug with 2 or 3 gens NOED it's just a counter to gen rush, if people take the time to do totems BOOM! no value, if you play well and get pressure and kills fast BOOM! no value so stop shamming people because of it.
I bring DS when i play survivor but i don't use to have 60s of imunity when people unhook me i run and heal and get back to my job and i only started to use because the majority of the killers are snowflakes you do well in chases or stun them you get imeddiatly tagged as TOXIC and deserv to be camped and tunneled to death.
Most of the time my DS don't have use for several matchs, i think i played 20 matchs yesterday and only got one DS against a camping spirit but i know that there survivor who abuse and i completely against it but i can't remove DS because everytime i do i get a toxic freedy tunneling me with 5 gens and camping and this it's boring as i huntress i don't need to tunnel to win or even use my NOED so why people playing with a S+ killer like him need to do that? think about it.
This top boils down to...
Killers
If you bring noed and get your kills before the end game you did great.
if you bring noed and people rush gens without fear of getting NOED and you get kills because they just smashing gens you did great too.
BUT
if you bring noed to CAMP and TUNNEL and use noed to get the last two kills you're complety trash killer.
Survivors
if you bring DS but only use when killers are tunneling you because they did bad chasing and know they want to kill you because you did great you did great.
BUT
if you bring DS to have 60s imunity to do gens in front of killers or things like that you're trash because survivors can waste a lot of the without no perk you don't need any perk to carry you i say that because i do well in rank one and my build ins't meta(just DS) and do great.

That's such a false narrative.
"If you rely on X Perk, you're a bad Killer/Survivor"
Guess we just shouldn't use perks since we rely on them to win huh?
2 -
No, no, you can use perks, but only if you get no value out of them, otherwise you're "relying" on them to win. For example, if you're a stealth player, bring MoM. If you never work on gens, bring Leader. If you never kick gens, bring Overcharge. It's all about bringing perks you will never use, so you're not relying on them to win.

Hahahahahahhahhahahaha...!
Did you see his post? Reminds me of the Hatch is killer-favored mechanism by some other survivor main.
0 -
Oh good greif has this not died yet
I'm so done with this thread and it's op. Please just leave me out of it by this point.
0 -
That's because your logic is flawed and it's been exposed to more people.
Please justify more how survivors can use everything but killers are bad because they "rely" on NOED some more.
0 -
Or because I don't want to be involved in a thread with a hypocrite who continually calls me an entitled survivor main despite the fact I rarely play survivor. Because I have different opinions and don't believe NOED is fine I somehow play nothing BUT survivor and I'm entitled, according to your words. Additionally you then enter into my JOKE thread about NERFING FIRE UP claiming it's me trying to flex.
Sorry, I've been awake for 30 minutes so far and my tolerance of bullshit is already at it's peak. I don't have the patience nor temper to deal with this thread today, so I'll have to once again ask you to refrain from messaging or quoting me as there will most likely be no further response from this one forward.
At this point it's clear you're trying to antagonise me. I can't be asked.
0 -
The thing you don't realize and I mentioned before, I don't care what or who you are. Your idea of "survivors' perks are ok because they don't 'RELY' on them while killer can't use noed because he 'RELIES' on it" is purely survivor-main mindset, this is why I called you a survivor main.

Had to delete comment. Didn't read the 2nd part of ur comment.
0 -
Didn't die because the post is only 2 days old. Not like this thread was posted months ago. Also means you can't be criticized for your comment. If you have criticisms against a specific perk based on it's ability, that's one thing. But calling all players who use it bad because they "rely" on it is just ridiculous.
I sometimes run an endgame build on my DeathSlinger that involves BW and NOED. Do I rely on the perk? Of course. But I setup my entire build for the endgame.

I will say I did hear killer mains also say Hatch is Killer Favored BUT they only said that because killer takes statues over the hatch. They explained and showed for example if the killer closes hatch and sits right on it the survivor can't do anything even with a key to open it. Also to the whole when the third survivor dies the timer should start forcing the last survivor to open a gate. How likely is it that survivor will actually have enough time to open the gate before the killer gets to them?
I mean on most maps the gates are so close together. I do not feel the hatch is a way out for bad players. I mean I have played survivor and had games where I do no joke 4 out of 5 gens by myself and break 3 totems and rescue two teammates only for them to spend the game hiding and then get killed. At that point what more could I do?
I have given a survivor the hatch many times as killer as well because I seen how hard they were trying but their solo que team was dragging them down. I am not saying you are wrong and I am right just pointing out why the hatch is not always a bad thing and honestly if the players are that bad and 9 times out of 10 then the last survivor wont even look for the hatch and hide in a locker and I laugh as I either spectate or look for the survivor as the killer.
0 -
Thank you.
To him, all survivors can use everything, all is fine because they don't "rely" on it.
NOED? Nah it's a "crutch" perk for "bad killers" because they "rely" on it.
Tell me that is not survivor-main brain.
0 -
Yes, priority to killer closing the hatch over anything else (as it should be). But Hatch, by nature, is a survivor-favored mechanism since it gives them a free out-of-jail for playing poorly (as if they don't already have billion second chances).
But that's another topic, sorry I digress.
0 -
Or hear me out noed is a perk for endgame builds. Not your basic meta crap. Example of a noed build that serves a purpose beyond just being optimum.
Actual example endgame build
Noed, blood warden, bitter murmur and cruel limits
Basic meta build
Noed, pop goes the weasel, Corrupt intervention Highly desirable meta perk for specific killer (eg demogorgon will want stbfl)
Yes you can run noed as failsafe but that's no different then running ds, unbreakable, adreanaline and an exhaustion perk. Your just playing the best perks. Practice what you preach! Explore other options.
0 -
The killer could close the hatch though and stand on it and never give the survivor a chance to open it even if they were next to it.
Now even with someone like me who did 90% of the gens and more than half the totems and tried my best saving my potato solo team only to be left alone would not deserve a shot at the hatch?
I mean I do agree yes that players that play poorly should not be given the hatch BUT most the time if you watch those players they do not even bother looking for the hatch. They hide and continue to sit in the corners and then hope to get the gate. It is normally the survivors that tried hard who know to look for the hatch.
It is a odd topic sadly but thanks for the response and I hope you have a great day and Good luck in your games with this new wacky matchmaking system. <(^.^)>

Your last paragraph says it all.
Nothing wrong with NOED at all, it's the only second-chance perk for killers. That's why survivors don't want it.
0 -
I pretty much take what I want and try the builds I like. I've found it doesn't matter what build I use, jerks are going to be salty about it. I say don't hate the playa; hate the game. I could care less what people say to me in the 20 seconds at wrap. If they want to waste it winging, so be it.
1 -
I say "if devs allow it, I am doin' it!", so kinda same thing.
That goes for Moris, Tunneling, Slugging, Camping.. I do whatever I want to and I don't feel ######### person for doing it or "toxic" because it's a game and I can use whatever techniques to have fun.
1 -
In times like these where the first gen pops before the Killer can even get to the gen, the use of NOED is certainly justified.
I'm playing Rank 1 Survivor after 2 years of break and it's an absolute joke now that Ruin is gone. Most of the time the first gen pops before I even know who the Killer is, it's ridiculous.
1 -
Very true. Hex Ruin should not of been reworked.
1 -
Yep my use of the Mori has increased proportional to the speed of Gens popping fast. I find it is the only effective way to slow things down.

I don’t think it’s shameful to admin you’re bad at this game... you want people to lick your boot and pretend you’re good? NOED IS a perk for bad killers and the irony is that using it makes it so you won’t get better nearly as well as someone who doesn’t use it.
I normally only play killer. If I’m expecting the survivors to do all the gens while I haven’t killed anyone yet it means I need more practice with that killer. And giving up an entire perk slot to something that really only works on purple and green ranks is a bit silly.
You using NOED doesn’t make you bad. You’re bad so you use NOED. it’s that simple. Why is it shameful to admit you’re bad?
0 -
I don't even understand this poor effort troll post, sorry. Bunch of poorly written gibberish.
Go play with 1000 survivor noob perks and bully killers for NOED.
0 -
Wow, if you spent even 10% of the time clearing totems as you do winging here, perhaps Noed wouldn't be so big a problem for you.
0 -
Did I say anywhere it’s a problem? Or did you just have that response copied into your clipboard? I said it’s a perk bad killers choose. Clearly it is. I’m not sure why this is even debated. There are bad killers in this game looking to get better. The difference between them and you is that you can’t admit you’re bad and thus will never improve.
0 -
Your logic is dumb this is the problem. Using a perk does not indicate player skill at all.
It's very ridiculous to say the least.
0 -
Carry on my Winging Son... there will be peace when you are done.
0 -
Using an entire perk slot that only activates after you already lost and not for the memes does indicate bad skill. Why get so offended over it? Seriously. If you can’t admit you’re bad how are you ever going to improve?
0 -
Self care? Seriously?
