Make Iron Will counter Stridor

I’m making a new weekly challenge for myself. To try and get Iron Will to counter Stridor to hopefully slightly nerf spirit (all spirit needs to be balanced is this)

So this is week 1.

Hopefully this gets enough traction and we can make it happen

The perk itself is fine and doesn't really need changes imo

I think the best solution would be to not make Stridor work when using phase walk as Spirit since that's when it's the most problematic and eliminates the pretty much only counterplay survivors have against her (which is IW)

Just bring No Mither and Iron Will.

Iron will needs something to counter it though. It's one of my main perks as survivor and lemme tell you, it has saved me 100x more than DS ever has.

    It's just how math works.

Stridor increases survivor injured noises by 50% (or +50%)

Iron Will decreases survivor injured noises by 100% (or -100%)

And together you get a -50% to survivor injured noises.

And basically put your whole team at a disadvantage by running No Mither just to counter a broken combo (which is spirit with stridor) that should not be a thing in the first place.. no thanks

Literally the only time No Mither was helpful is back when i deranked when survivor queues were awful at red ranks and the perk surely speed up that progress by quite a bit.

Then experienced survivors will mindgame the Spirit very easily, especially on such maps where there is no grass in the loops. Better for individual killers, make addons, like the Nurse, that increase the audibility of the groans of survivors.

You can take Iron Will + Off The Record, the effect of both perks stacks

I am Spiritmain, and I understand how difficult it is for solo players against this killer, so I rarely take this killer against solo players, if I do, then only on gray addons.

Yeah, but nobody will run two situational perks in case they MIGHT run into a Spirit...

The problem lies where the Spirit itself is just too powerful atm.

Perks need no change at all.

Question: Isn't Stridor the counter to Iron Will?

You have a Spirit issue and not a Stridor issue. I only use it on Huntress so that I can hear survivors ever so slightly even when they have Iron Will.
