You decided not to go for a blind effect because a real blind effect would just be annoying.
Yeah wow, but why does the killer get blinded by a little flashlight then?

    If he had to aim at survivors during animation locks, had to bring add-ons for the blind effect, ran out after 20 seconds of use, could drop the add-ons when hit, and couldn't actually kill survivors, sure.

    Asymmetrical game, remember?

    Aiming the bottle at a running survivor is more difficult than hitting a stationary target during animation lock, addons for blind effect? whut?
    He runs out of bottles indeed and needs to refill, btw survivors can bring enough flashlights to stun you at every pallet and still have enough battery for flashlight saves
    Drop flashlight, thats a point for you yeah

    Um, you mean toward obvious looping locations with reloadable bottles that you can throw willy nilly five times in a row? With gas clouds that persist and spread out over an area?

    Equivalent to bringing flashlights with duration add ons.. Since a killer's ability is innate, unlike having flashlights.

    Oh no... reloading that can be done on the spot... Waiting five seconds.. What a tragedy..

    Shame survivor can't whack you twice and kill you while you're blinded, right?

    Did you just rush to make this thread and simply miss that they also acknowledged the blind effect for the killer was a bad mechanic, or are you just ignoring it?

    They said they want to revisit it (i.e. change it). Bashing the devs for not re-using a mechanic that's both annoying and unpopular is pretty absurd. The fact that it's not gone yet doesn't mean they like it.

    • Getting rid of the pallet vaccum
    • Changing the loops and gyms in order to make the pallets less safe and promote mindgames
    • Review of the pallet distribution
    • The mid-chapter patch will bring a lot of changes to killer powers / addons and perks that should also help
    Yeah but what about the Trapper buff or pantsless David?

    If that means that the useless sabo addons will be replaced then im all for it, but will the Trapper get any game-changing ones similar to the purple/red Myers and Hag addons?

    Oh and is topless Huntress an option?
