¿What does Exposed means in this game?

i´ve been trying to do a quest of the battle pas that says "hit with your weapon 5 exposed survivors" and idk what does that means :c

The survivor can be insta downed. Some examples is Myers Tier 3 hits, Haunted grounds hits and Noed hits. You just need to get 5 hits with anything like that.

To add on to this, Exposed is a status effect that allows killers to instadown survivors with normal M1 attacks. I just wanted to clarify the "status effect" bit to be sure you know that it wouldn't count if you instadowned someone with Bubba's chainsaw, for example. They need to have the Exposed status effect.
