Monstrous shrine rework idea?
The entity becomes angered whenever a survivor is rescued from the basement.
After a survivor is unhooked from the basement, the unhooked survivor is inflicted with deep wound and has 20/15/10 seconds to mend or be inflicted by the dying state. This mend timer trumps all other mend timers.
You are not notified of any unhookings from the basement.

???????????
you dont get notified when unhooks occur in the basement? thats a nerf?
Also as a survivor, forcing me to mend is just a minor inconvenience. this perk would do literally nothing.

Just sounds like youre forced to heal and get the killer involved in a killer shack loop wasting his time off gens.

With current deep wounds mechanics - it'll still be completely underused like the current monstrous shrine. Instead of lack of notification add in like a building stack of bloodpoints you get as long as survivors are in the basement while you are at least 45m away from it. Use the basement but discourages the "boring" camping of it that usually stems from basement hooking in general.

That's a nerf to Borrowed Time, sounds pretty good.
The notification thing, I don't really care. You can just look at the bottom left of the screen to see if they've been unhooked or not, you don't need the notification. That'll make Basement Builds a lot stronger too.
I like it.

Monstrous Shrine.
Hooking survivors in the basement inflicts grievous bodily wounds. Survivors rescued from a basement hook suffer from the broken status effect for 180 seconds, and a 50% action speed penalty to repair, healing, sabotage, and cleansing until fully healed.
This idea discourages basement camping, whilst lessening the anxiety of giving up pressure by allowing easy basement rescues. Plus it gives the killer a great reward for using a niche perk for a niche circumstance at the expense of other more universally useful perks.

I'd apply a shorter time frame to how long survivors can been hooked in the basement for, and apply the current Monstrous Shrine settings to any other hook.

If you think a borrowed time nerf is good, just stop tunneling and go for the saviour instead of the guy gettinz unhooked. This perk change would buff tunneling the guy getting unhooked a lot

If you think I think Borrowed Time needs a nerf, then we're on the wrong page.

Seemed like it?
You said "That's a nerf to Borrowed Time, sounds pretty good".
What else were you trying to say with it?
