Optimization and Content Rant
OK, look. Ormond already kills my framerate. I have a barely functioning laptop, but if I change some graphics settings and set it to the smallest windowed view mode I can, I can get a consistent 25fps on Killer and 20fps on survivor (3rd person view adds to the fps issue). On most maps, I'm fine. On Coldwind, I can't see 2 millimeters in front of my own face, so screw those maps. On the new Badham, Yamaoka, and Macmillian, I get a noticable drop in framerate, but still kind of playable.
Then there's Ormond. Ormond is actually unplayable for me simply because it makes my fps commit sudoku. This is why I'm against the graphical reworks. Not only are breakable walls are pretty poorly executed mechanic, and is a bandaid for bad map design (if you get really bad RNG, the window in Groaning Storehouse is an infinite, even with the wall broken.), but the graphical updates kills my fps. I can't imagine how console players feel when they are forced onto these reworked maps.
I get that making the game more optimized and more accessible is kind of out of the realm of possibilities, because a new chapter every 6 months and a new cosmetic collection every 2 minutes is more important than the health of the game.
I'd be 100% fine if BHVR gave us 1 chapter every 9 months in exchange for constant and consistent updates at least once monthly with major changes to balance, stability, accessibility, optimization, and game health. Dead By Daylight would NOT be negatively impacted by this. We already have, what, 160 perks split amongst survivor and 20+ killers? We have a ton of maps, and so, so many issues with the game. Why are we adding more mess to the pile?
I know the devs are very talented people, but their decisions hold them back. The devs are not incapable of making this game the best it can be, but they just choose not to because it's hard.

Sorry bro, I‘m a console player so I struggle with frames aswell but I think it‘s time to upgrade your hardware...

Sounds like you need a better computer.

I've edited your title, and the comment you made with regards to bans as both were completely inaccurate. I won't discuss bans publicly, but can assure everyone there's an escalation process that happens.
Now to get back to the topic, I've moved this to Feedback and request you list your system specs for further information

yeah, no ######### guys. I know I need a new computer. That's why the graphical update was only a small part of the rant.
I'd be fine with a consistent 25fps, but the 19fps I get on Yamaoka and the 6 I get on Ormond is ridiculous. All I'm asking is just a tiny, TINY bit of extra optimization.

It just sounds like you really need a better computer. I never had issues on my old laptop and it wasn't even meant for gaming and it still worked fine.

OK. Thank you <3
Only issue is that I'm stupid and don't know how to check specs or which ones should be listed, but I'll figure it out.
Would love to get more info on why bans seem to be a little... questionable
