OK, look. Ormond already kills my framerate. I have a barely functioning laptop, but if I change some graphics settings and set it to the smallest windowed view mode I can, I can get a consistent 25fps on Killer and 20fps on survivor (3rd person view adds to the fps issue). On most maps, I'm fine. On Coldwind, I can't see 2 millimeters in front of my own face, so screw those maps. On the new Badham, Yamaoka, and Macmillian, I get a noticable drop in framerate, but still kind of playable.

Then there's Ormond. Ormond is actually unplayable for me simply because it makes my fps commit sudoku. This is why I'm against the graphical reworks. Not only are breakable walls are pretty poorly executed mechanic, and is a bandaid for bad map design (if you get really bad RNG, the window in Groaning Storehouse is an infinite, even with the wall broken.), but the graphical updates kills my fps. I can't imagine how console players feel when they are forced onto these reworked maps.

I get that making the game more optimized and more accessible is kind of out of the realm of possibilities, because a new chapter every 6 months and a new cosmetic collection every 2 minutes is more important than the health of the game.

I'd be 100% fine if BHVR gave us 1 chapter every 9 months in exchange for constant and consistent updates at least once monthly with major changes to balance, stability, accessibility, optimization, and game health. Dead By Daylight would NOT be negatively impacted by this. We already have, what, 160 perks split amongst survivor and 20+ killers? We have a ton of maps, and so, so many issues with the game. Why are we adding more mess to the pile?

I know the devs are very talented people, but their decisions hold them back. The devs are not incapable of making this game the best it can be, but they just choose not to because it's hard.
