DC loading screen should have penalty.
When someone disconnects during loading screen, that person should receive a stacking penalty.
It wastes a bunch of time, it's cowardly, and you're not special.
If you're afraid of a mori, that's kinda the point. You're a survivor, you're supposed to be scared, but when you dc it makes you a coward.
If you dc as killer, you're a special kind of scared. Like a cat, but the bad word for it.

I agree, these consequence-free DCs need to stop.

Even if I see a mori, which I think are terrible for the game, I barely ever leave during loading, so I can agree. Especially with how long queues can take sometimes, it really just feels like it wastes time. It sucks especially when people leave for no reason. I've had people leave when four out of five people bought BPS, and I'm fairly certain it was just to be an #########.

A dc is a dc. It deserves a penalty.
If you don't agree, it's because you feel your time is more valuable than those that readied up to play.
I sincerely hope a penalty is enforced, because I'm seeing too many people afraid of secret offerings.
Another solution would be to make all killer offerings secret.

Lol, no thanks.
Show the mori before the loading screen. Killers dodging keys faster than Ferrari.

why we want go to match that already predictable. It waste of time so in my opinion if the survivor dc after see on offerings, it is their decision. Since all killer will tunneling you when they have mori after you get unhook.
2 -
Those killers also deserve a penalty.
I don't dodge keys, because I'm confident that survivors won't get to use them.
I don't dodge mori, because I'm confident that the killer won't get to use them, even if I get mori, it looks awesome.
I really wish a single person would just admit, "I'm scared of keys and moris, so I leave like a scaredy cat."
2 -
So, by that logic, the killer should always dc?
Every game is against 4 survivors, sooo predictable.
No, a dc is a dc. Trying to sugar coat excuses will only build a cake of lies.

Let's also take keys and moris into full account.
Keys are not a get out of jail card, they're meant to replace bond.
If a killer uses moris he will get easy kills and mmr will increase difficulty of future matches.
A killer using a mori will punish himself with increasingly difficult games.
A survivor only using keys for hatch, aren't really using it correctly.

We already have d/c penalties. Some people on this forum need to build a bridge already.

We don't have dc penalties for loading screen dcers.
I also don't get the bridge comment?
0 -
LOL, sorry you don't get it.
Perhaps try think a different way. Think about why people d/c. What ways could you encourage them to stay. Perhaps if you didn't give them the information.
It's just low hanging fruit to say 'punish them' when they're game may have just crashed.

People will leave while Mori's are a thing, they can't penalise people for leaving during Loading how would you even manage that. It's not gonna happen.
0 -
Then, same for lobby dodging?
5 -
I don't DC, but every time I see that last offering that doesn't flip over I hope someone else does. The 1 hook tunnel mori is one of the worst playstyles out there. Even when I have a 60K daily ritual to mori I'll do it with Devour Hope, the mori offerings are just too overpowering.

Lobby dodging doesn't waste time like sitting through a loading screen just to see someone dc.
Only one post? And it's completely doable to penalize people that restart app just because they see something they don't like.
Alot of people that complain about game crashes, do nothing to fix it on their end. A timeout could be clogging your line, or your laptop can't handle this game. A penalty is warranted due to any reason.
I never see penalties, or crashes, because I don't dc.
I'm all for less info being given. Maine offering should only show up after game has loaded in.
Alot of solutions to this problem.

A killer that brings a mori is already punishing himself.
Easy kills leads to more experienced players.

Even though it didn’t. The great majority of disconnects are people ragequitting, either on the loading screen or after a down. DC penalties should apply at any time after the campfire ends, period.
And yes, I’m also totally behind the idea of all offerings being secret.
1 -
Exactly this.
If you sat through the campfire, you're ready to play a match. If you leave, you dc, and that deserves a penalty.
1 -
My point being more in reference to calling everyone cowards and kitty cats.
Not the time lost.
4 -
Unsure of if you agree or disagree with penalty being implemented.

This.

Already addressed that.

Bud, BHVR wants people to play the game, buying stuff etc.
Not to get banned all of them because they're dodging lobbys.
0 -
I wouldn't get banned, because I'm ACTUALLY trying to PLAY.
Only those that abuse loading screen dc in order to avoid in game dc would get penalty.
Putting penalties in place to prevent abuse... like the ALREADY EXISTING DC PENALTIES is what I'm talking about.
The fact that so many people are okay with loading disconnects shows that it's just a workaround for the existing penalty.

Clearly you haven't been playing recently if you think the new update/dlc is a smooth motoring machine.
0 -
You have no way of proving it was a d/c due what was perceived in the loading screen, and why do you think it happens THAT often to get fired up about is mystifying. Because it really doesn't.
Seriously, build a bridge.

Sorry you can't abuse Haddonfield/Mori offerings for a quick, easy win. Better luck next time.
1 -
😂😂😂 Killers be like "WAAHHH, I can't Mori those pesky survivors" lmao

I think on console there's a penalty if you DC during the loading screen. I know it happened to friends in the past, so I assume it still works that way.
