how to troll the entire killer community. 2 words "bbq op"
0 -
No plans to :p
Anything I can do to make people's days better, even if it does involve using cows as reaction images.

Dark side of the Bait or Light side of the Moo?
Make your choice wisely

What's next on your nerf list Mindbreaker? Because it took away your precious sprint burst? Or Bloodecho please you've embarrassed yourself here and not to mention every other survivor main you're one of the reasons this game is super toxic it's called entitlement now uninstall and go find another forum to troll.

I'm 60/40 survivor but seems like something that I wouldn't mind to balance the game a little more .

The reason that most killers only consider bbq a bp+ perk is because it only gives 3 seconds of reveal. That's enough to let you see where they are, but not where they are going.
With survivors, you know when someone is hooked where the killer is. He's at the hook. You also have a pretty good idea of where he's going, and can actually hear him coming in most cases. Basically you already have more information without any perks than bbq actually provides.
At most, if you had the same aura reveal, you would see the last second of the hook animation, the killer turn, and take a single step. Then the 3 seconds are up. That just doesn't seem useful to me. I could be wrong, but I would rather just bring Kindred and see the killer as long as he is near the hook, as whether or not he's camping is the only information I really want on the killer at that time.

I don't think it should be a hex perk since it could be cleansed easily before even getting any value, but maybe a change where it shows the aura only when you get each stack, i.e on each person's first hook when you get the stack.

sluzzy is here once again with the greatest bait
2 -
I know every killer say it’s only used because of the bps, but if you remove bbq 90% of killers (included those in red ranks) won’t be able to kill more than 1 surv.
0 -
That's a bold claim and I hope you have the ability to back it up.
6 -
It’s the truth, and I have 4.000 hours in this game
0 -
But my real question is?
Who eats BBQ with Chilli
1 -
Okay, now that's interesting, because many people I know consistently do well without BBQ and there are stronger tracking perks in the game, such as Thrilling, Infectious, and Whispers.
I personally enjoy BBQ but without the bloodpoint bonus I'd just use Thrilling :/
So again, I'd love to see how you can backup a statement that 90% of all killers can't kill people without BBQ despite the fact that more than 10% of the killer population is able to play and kill without BBQ.
Maybe you're just applying it to yourself, and then thinking that represents the entire game.
3 -
Asherfrost, it’s 4 secs. That’s 23 meters with a 115% killer seeing every survivor
1 -
Oddly enough, if you don't first hook suicide or DC on first down, your matches will also last 95% longer with your team also having way higher chances of escaping.
Try playing some matches to completion - The results may surprise you.
3 -
Hilarious to see a (very obvious) survivor main complaining about a perk that is, most of the time, used primarily for bloodpoints. touch grass, this post is ridiculous
0 -
Well, if red rank survivors have taught me anything, it's that 95% of them are complete garbage, and the rest play with friends who are competent. If you apply that logic to forums, then 95% of the people who post in a place like this are, equally, as dumb. I would say they're trolling but when you have over 1k posts on forums, and you believe a perk like BBQ with a ton of counters and is overall healthy for the game, is OP, then I can't help but feel sorry for them

Its posts like this that make me hate the community of survivors.
This will catch on and people will continue until it is changed because that is the survivor community as a whole. Easy made needed or they riot... more like cry until it is changed.
But yeah.. go ahead. Makeva post about how killer perks are "hard" and pay to win. There are plenty of counters to it. Learn to play or uninstall and complain about another game.

Shows how often I use it.
NGL tried unlocking it, hate playing bubba, gonna have to wait for shrine. Equipped it on him, but didn't find it really helped me much. I'd get maybe 1 person who didn't know how to hide from the reveal, and by the time I got there, 75% of the time they were gone. So maybe 25% of the time it actually lead me to a survivor, which to me feels about as useful as guessing which gen to check first. The BP bonus on the other hand was WONDERFUL!

Read the comments you'll love us survivor mains again when the cows show up mid-trial-
wait no I'm meant to be a killer main now.

3 -
Keep up with the cows. They're awesome.
On topic: so we should get rid of bitter murmur then?
4 -
Aye aye, cap'n
3 -
By the OP's absurd logic, I'm sure they'd agree. I mean, BBQ actually does something for the killer when the killer advances their objective and hooks someone -- Bitter Murmur rewards the killer for the SURVIVORS advancing their objective. That's even worse and more unfair/OP, lol! 🤣
(As sarcastic as this post is meant to be, the sad part is that out there, someone will be going "That's a good point -- Bitter Murmur needs a nerf!")
Oh, and definitely keep posting cows. They're absolutely redeeming this thread. 👍️

bro the perk isnt that annoying. you can still do a lot to avoid your aura being shown to the killer. and taking chase isnt so bad (unless you dont know how to loop) cuz youre buying your teammates time to go for the save. also the new ooo will help a lot with countering barbecue and chilli. i know using an entire perk slot just to prevent one perk from activating isnt very ideal, but itll still be a good perk nonetheless

Moooo :)

What you said was exactly what killers do. Killers have the ez mode and survivors are still getting nerfed. Survivors getting junk perks and some nerfed unjustly and killers get new meta perks every update. It's the killers that are spreading rumors about quitting unless they get "their way".
They seem like garbage because killer is ez in comparison. Just put on some slowgen perks, BBQ, tinkerer, and suddenly any killer looks good and any survivors look bad. You said it right, they have to play in a SWF to have a chance at all at winning.
1 -
New OoO will kill you if you’re the last survivor alive. Can’t imagine anyone using it
1 -
but doesnt current ooo screw you over even more? last survivor situations are rare unless your teammates are complete potatoes
2 -
If I didn't know you were either A. Horrible B. Inexperienced C. Super salty or D. A troll, but reading through all of the responses makes it pretty event you're all of the above.
6 -
This. This is the best answer thanks.
3 -
If BBQ was a Hex, then it would need to work even at close range, and through lockers.
2 -
oh my gOD I HOPED THIS WAS FINALLY DEAD-
1 -
It's really astounding how such an obvious biased Trollpost can get over 250 comments XD (And not be closed by mods).
1 -
To be fair I have posted 23 pictures of cows and 2 small donkeys thusfar so I'm not sure im helping matters
2 -
Well let's say you keep the mood at an acceptable level and diffuse any potential aggression XD
2 -
happy to help
1 -
Oh hey the thread was just now banned into the "Feedback and suggestion" void. ^^
2 -
You're welcome 😊 I didn't really think a long explanation would've mattered to a troll.
3 -
Looks like we ain't stopping till' the cows come home.
2 -
I know this is a troll post (well i hope) but im going to point one thing out the complaint is 4 seconds of aura reveal is unfair even though it has the condtions of hooking a survivor and the other survivors have to be 40 meters away to reveal their aura. While Kindred the survivors equilvant to bbq condtions are a survivor is hooked which then reveal all survivors aura to the survivors no range btw and the killers aura if they are in a 16 meters radius of the hooked survivor but the aura reveal is permanent till the survivor is unhooked.
on a side note im not saying we should start nerfing kindred just want to point out that we have complaints of killers having 4 seconds of aura reading while its fine for survivors having endless amount of aura reading
2 -
Which won't be for a long time with me around
2 -
Just the way it should be.
1 -
Excellent.
2 -
I'm actually kind of curious where you get all those cow and donkey pictures from.
1 -
Google images and my friends when I'm sad
Moo moo got cold so moo moo got scarf
2 -
If you double something 3 times that is 6x the bp. Triple is multiplying by 3.
If you multiply something by 2 then multiply it by 2 again it is impossible for it to be triple as both multiplying numbers are even.

I'm not sure if you guys are discussing mathematical terminology or DbD's Bloodpoint system, but I'm going to point out how DbD's Bloodpoint system works just in case anyone is confused by it.
If a killer burns a Survivor Pudding and runs BBQ, that's 2 100% bonuses, which becomes a 200% bonus. In other words, if the killer earns 32k in the match, the full amount of points they receive at the end is 96k, so that's triple Bloodpoints.
I just wanted to clear that up for anyone reading this thread who doesn't know that DbD uses additive math when percentages are involved (which is how Stridor counters Iron Will).
1 -
Max bp is 32k
BBQ doubles that so it's 64k
A double bp event triples it making it 96k.
It's triple the amount if double is by default. :/
