SWF should be for custom games only

Queue times for survivors are 10-50+ minutes long. When killers suspect SWF they back out.

Clearly the issue is SWF because the game was never balanced around with SWF in mind. This shows because no killer actually wants to go against SWF.

So killers suggest remove SWF, nerf SWF or limit SWF to 2 players. The average response from SWF is "we just want to play with our friends" To which I agree, you should be able to play with your friends but not in competitive modes.

If you want to play with your friends that's fine, take it to custom.

Keep SWF out of ranked and give survivors a slight boost in BP for playing competitive now as compensation for the lack of SWF.

Most SWF aren't OP. I play SWF casually and we lose more often than we win. In fact I'd wager I probably do better solo than with my friends, but I wouldn't play survivor at all if I couldn't SWF.

SWF used to be Custom matches only, but people would lobby hop until they ended up with with friends anyway, so queues would be much, much longer.

As Seraphor said, most swf aren't OP. Some go and rush gens, while others play completely normal and you wouldn't even recognise are swf.

As they also mentioned, it would lead to even longer queue times, as before swf was a thing survivors would keep on dodging lobbies up until they found their friends.

I really don't care about going against SWF or just good players in general. It teaches me how to pressure more effectively and how to out position survivors better and learn how to make better reads. Even if I lose, I've gained experience to become a better player myself. I don't understand this mentality that so many people in this community have where they don't want to ever face good players. Competitive players/teams shouldn't be allowed in competitive? No the real answer is a casual mode with LESS bp's and rewards for people like you.

SWF is not a huge problem. People can play with their friends and that's fine. The comms are the one that gives the upper hand. Imagine you are playing Ghostface againts Solo survivors and SWF survivors with comms. At Solo you should only hide againts 1-2 survivor for stalking them but when it comes to SWF with comms they told where you going and there is no point of your power. Comms are the problem that is broke some aspect of the game not the SWF. Some groups not use comms to gain advantage but for fun which is fine but the ones that organize themself like SWAT teams and use all 3rd party software to their advantages is the thing that bores people.

Q times depend on the time of day I think. Sometimes I get insta lobbies.

And unless you make everything in the lobbies invisible, people will dodge until they end up with their friends.

The game isn't BALANCED, period. It's asymmetric, and every attempt to balance it one way will take something the other way.

Dude, talk about the FUN police. Like others have said. Most SWF are not that good. 4 top tier randos will be just as much a challenge. If not more as they may not become overly altruistic, as many swfs do.

People want to play with their friends. They funny part is how often people are accused of SWFing and they are not. It has become an excuse for killer that constantly get their asses kicked.

problem with SWF is the current matchmaking once the mmr is implemented it should make SWF more fair

If SWF aren't that good then why are most killers afraid of SWF?

Please don't act like SWF didn't damage their reputation for being known to be so sweaty that 90% of killers will lose against

If people are being limited how they can play with their friends they wont wanna play the game anymore, atleast not as survivor. I don't know many people who genuinely enjoy playing solo surv. When im solo I play killer, but the good majority of my gameplay hours have always been casual play with friends, win some and lose some. Even if theyre good players as long as you find work arounds it's most definitely possible to beat them, however alot of killers are looking for easier games (i.e people who are unable to properly communicate with each other.) instead of learning the work arounds.

Killers are afraid of good SWFs, not all SWFs.

You often face bad SWFs with no idea they're a SWF. Sometimes you even face a bunch of really good solo survivors and mistake them for a SWF because they're that good.

You can either be a good solo survivor, or a half-decent SWF, and you'll give a killer a run for their money without being OP. It's only when you combine SWF with really good survivor play then it becomes OP.

Like half of all survs are in at least a two-man SWF too many to separate, and from what I've seen the devs aren't interested in splitting the playerbase in any way.

With the current mmr and rank systems, not to mention overall performance & unbalances, I cannot consider this game as "competitive" at all. Just look at the pages of restrictions those tournaments out there out in place. Says so much about the current state of the game right there.

And custom matches don't give out bloodpoints, so with your change they'd never level their characters up. So they'd lobby dodge until they found their buds like a few years ago, and queue times would worsen even more.

I just realised I usually get a +1 and even +2 when solo q but 0 to -1 in SWF.

I don't know if it's because the killer is like: well that's a SWF and I'm going to go hard on them or because I don't have the pressure I do with playing with friends and make better decisions.
