No problem - I appreciate your willingness to ask for clarification.

Breakdown was in all of my Surv builds before the ''bug'' was known, +1

But then it gets to the same situation as Decisive Strike
By itself it's not that powerful but you have to remember the game has four survivors, they can do two gens at the start of the match like usual and then keep 3 gens on just one side of the map that they can freely finish because there's not a single hook for them to be hooked on after some time
Perks that punish the killer for hooking survivors ( which i add, is the main objective ) should never be a thing, and if they are it has to be very, very weak, and if they become a norm like the Breakdown you're suggesting, the killers won't have any option other than face camping

I want my hangman trick back to it old self. Literally hooks respawn even after a sacrifice on it. Why was it changed???

Yeah, sure. But if you really want to do this, then Iron Grasp must return to its original version:
Overall, it is not a good idea to have something that completely removes the killer's objective (otherwise Old Saboteur would still be a thing), and if such change were to go through it would require some sort of counter.
In conclusion, you get a new Breakdown and we get old Iron Grasp. It is a fair trade.

I also want to know what monstrosity convinced the dev to kill of hangman trick.
It was one of my favourite perks

I can accept the proposal the Breakdown breaks one hook and one hook only on the condition they revert Hangman's Trick to counter it.

Breakdown is broken.

I wouldnt mind Breakdown breaking Hooks forever since 1 person using it is of no real consequence but the problem comes with 4 people using it, you can potentially get rid of of 8 hooks before killing someone and thats excessive.
If they find a way of balancing it, sure it can stay similar to what is now, if they cant it has to go.

Wouldn't Iron Grasp be a better option?
