Why does the devs listen to survivors more than killers ?
When survivors complain the devs take action immediately but when killers complain the devs just be like "nahhh your fine deal with it and we will be nerfing a killer and their perks."

Yep, that pallet bug and survivors never being able to stun killers and constantly getting hit through pallets sure was dealt with immediately...oh wait.
What about all those Spirit complaints? The Devs definitely took their side and immediately nerfed her into the ground...wait, they didn't do that either did they? Darn.
Ooh! I know one! Remember how people have been complaining about Deathslinger for a year? He's had so many nerfs that he's unplayab- wait nope that didn't happen either.

They fixed DS, buffed/reworked weaker killers, etc.
Solo survivors are in need of more help imo, the Small Game buff is going to require a perk slot.

If spirit gets nerfed then your survivor main queue times will be 2 hours long.
BHVR isn't that stupid to completely kill their game by nerfing 1 of the 2 viable killers at red ranks

Trickster is the weakest atm. Trapper is trash, but he can at least do a party in the shack if theres the basement.

He was the most balanced and fair killer of the game. They nerfed it because almo couldnt loop him, or maybe it was all the rank 20 people that has the same vote as the veteran players, who cried about it and they finally did it.

Kind of depends on what you mean by 'red ranks', too. A bunch of solo rank 4s? Easy. SWF rank 1s? You're getting wrecked.
Anyway, while I previously might have agreed to this sentiment, 2021's been a fantastic year for killers. Buffs to Clown, Blight, and Wraith, major DS nerf, changes to Slippery Meat and Small Game that prevent them from working against specific killers. Lucky Break and The Game are the only things that have really changed in favor of survivors recently, and I'm not convinced Lucky Break is going to stay that way for long.

I've played my fair share of trapper at red ranks, and I didn't have any problems with him. Tony I have watched your streams, and you still have a lot and when I mean a lot. I do mean a lot to learn about killer still. I've put most of my time into Clown/Trickster 1k+ on Clown by now and another 200+ hours into Trickster and my win rate at rank 1 is 99/100. Explain that if any other killer but spirit and nurse is viable at reds? When MMR was on all I went against was deathsquads, and my que times were giant, because my winrate was so high on clown lol.

One could get rank 1 playing pre buffed Wraith & Clown or Legion. They either used to be C to D tier yet many like me managed to play them at rank 1 and I know many people who did Trapper at rank 1. Keeping rank 1 mean you know what you're doing, you're consistent & decent. Other rank mean nothing except that you play a lot or not. Of course you'll sweat playing old Wraith, Clown, Legion & Trapper vs strong solo or decent to strong coordinated SWF but that doesn't mean they're unplayable at red ranks.

You are simply incorrect. The only thing that causes immediate action is if the fix is simple, i.e. minimal coding. It is rare, but happens. If they can do it quickly and safely, they will regardless of whether it is something that affects Killers or Survivors.

Man you overestimate the average red rank player so much it's not even funny anymore. When the average red rank barely has any idea what they're doing in this game, every killer is more than viable. I can play Trapper at red ranks just fine. I know there's a lot of people on here that could probably 4k with Trapper consistently with no perks and add-ons. The average player is bad at this game, and it only takes 1 person on the survivor side for the killer to be in an extremely advantageous position.

just because you can get a 4k with trapper with no perks or add-ons that doesn't mean he doesn't completely suck
he's one of the weakest killers for a reason.
if the survivors aren't completely braindead trapper almost always losers
Now compare that with nurse or spirit if the survivors aren't completely braindead the games at least feel fair because nurse and spirit have the power to be able to compete with that level of intellect

Why are you only talking about trapper? Most killers can win against high end swf. Not only just spirit or nurse that's just a fact. Sure once you get to tournament level spirit and nurse are going to be the one's to go to. I just think you aren't looking at the bigger picture here.

I think we should all acknowledge that BHVR doesnt listen to almost anybody but themselves and shareholders. The only time they listen to the community is when something is universally agreed upon that they probably thought it themselves already anyways, like trickster bad.

You are massively overestimating how good the average red rank survivor is. Most of them are complete trash at the game and can be easily killed, and even when you go up against decent or good survivors it doesn't mean you'll immediately lose, you just need to put in more effort. Every single killer in that department, apart from Trickster and Trapper is consistently viable in red ranks.

Surveillance nerf was a bug fix, Pyramid Head nerf was needed since faking out his power was stronger than actually using his power (But also came with a buff which made using his power much better for beginners and people who just missed his attack) and seeing the aura of the cages let people tunnel hard. As a Blight main the compound 21 nerf was absolutely busted and needed a nerf, for being a green addon it had the strength of an iridescent addon. Trickster never got nerfed, unless your referring to his trick blades, and that nerf was needed to since people were using it in a way where the dev's never intended, and it made him really strong. I still believe he needs buffs, but that nerf was absolutely warranted. Freddy nerf was also warranted, he had way too many things in his kit without any punishment for it. Twins nerf I absolutely do not agree with, but I can see where the dev's are coming from. As long as they fix their time inefficiency, then I'll be fine with the 5 second cooldown. Bad breakable walls affect both sides.
Most of those changes you stated are awful examples of showing how the dev's "cater" to one side, they were for the most part warranted. And what about the other changes to survivor? If those changes make the dev's survivor sided, than what about the toolbox nerf, infinite removal, insta-heal nerf, DS and OOO nerfs, and more? Do those just not fit your narrative?
Also forgot to mention but the undying nerf was also completely warranted, having Ruin be saved up to 4 times was absolutely dumb and also having it have no synergy with token based hex's made it extremely limited with how you could use it. Yes, having your hex totems broken in the first minute of the game also sucks but that's an entirely different balance issue.
Edit: Also forgot about the iri head nerf, but I am really praying right now that you don't unironically think that it wasn't absolutely warranted. Even most killer mains agree that iri head + Infantry is the strongest thing in the game.

Don't even waste your time with him. Him and other people just want to blame survivors for everything and they knowingly refuse to acknowledge that survivors have been nerfed just as much as killers and that the devs don't listen to only one side.
They are the terrible people causing division in the community between survivors and killers.

Jeez dude, atleast try to hide your bias. Entitled killer mains like you are also just as awful as entitled survivor mains, you aren't any better then them so stop acting like you are. And camping and tunneling every survivor you come across isn't gonna fix anything, in fact it makes you an awful person as well because statistically speaking most of those survivors probably haven't done anything to you to warrant it.

Wow, another untrue statement about the way the game is balanced. Love that.
Look, the Devs don't favor oneside more then the other, and the game has pretty much gotten increasingly better for killer, though both sides still have their issues. (Trapper being super weak and left in the dust with balancing, and Solo Survivors pretty much being thrown into a Battle Royale half the time.) Both sides have bugs thag aren't fixed (Like the current chest bug, Pallet Stun Bug, and Breakdown bugs). Both sides have crappy perks.
The issue isn't the Devs favoring one side more then another, it's just that they're slow with balance changes, and both sides feel it.
