Let Survivors Fight Back
Sometimes killers get irritating (camping, tunneling...) and sometimes you're sneakier than they are and each time leaves an opportunity for a survivor to fight back. I get that the game is about escaping but I would like to see Steve with his baseball bat or any survivor given the chance to find a weapon and fight back.
I'm almost (34) and I don't like the fast paced life that this new generation is used to. I do not enjoy waiting long for a game just to have it end within (5) minutes. I legit play the game like I am the character and I'm stuck in a horror film and I do my best to escape chases, stay hidden and get work done without feeling rushed. Now, if a killer is making the game go quickly then so do I, but only because the point of the game for a survivor is to make it out and I want to make it out... however if I get to play a long game (not drawn out bullshit), but a legit, fun game then I'm completely satisfied. However, I'm a lower rank (12) but occasionally dropping between (13-14) because I end up against what I can b*tch boys and they play stupid (camping, tunneling...) and it honestly ruins the game and makes me want to punch them in the face. So...can survivors get weapons so we can end this whole issue with aholes?

Maybe try another game then, like Home Sweet Home: Survive.
I don't think you'll ever be able to 'fight back' in DBD.

I haven't heard of that? I'll have to look into it. Makes me a little sad thinking that DBD wouldn't ever allow that. I am obsessed with this game. 😭

Oh yes, let's give the Survivors weapons.
Let's turn it into an FPS while we're at it. Because that won't ruin everything about the game.

Because the whole game lore is that the Survivors are helpless victims. They can fight back, slightly, now. But they would never have freaking weapons to beat the Killer with.
Plus, the idea is based on OP not liking camping or tunneling. So he wants to ruin the game dynamic because he's salty that Killers played in a way he does not approve of.

Try home sweet home, but if that happened in dbd it would just end up turning into F13 where everyone just beat the crap out of Jason instead of trying to play the game properly. There's not enough killers as it is so that would just be the nail in the coffin tbh.

the whole point (and charm) of DbD is that survivors cant fight back.
you are forced to play evasive and run away instead of grouping up and beating the hell out of the killer.
if you want to be able to go at the killer and try to beat them, try one of the other games that allow you to do so such as, but not limited to: Friday The 13th - The Game, Last Year: The Nightmare or Home Sweet Home: Survive.

I understand what the OP is feeling but not sure weapons would be the change needed. There are changes that can be made without introducing weapons. I won't mention that one game that turned their killer into a piñata.

I agree with the OP I think we should let some of the survivors try to fight. Survivors like Ash William and the upcoming resident evil characters Leon and Jill all have proven that they are more than capable in fights and should be able to hold their own against some of the killers that are just normal humans which there are many.
