Fix grabs please
I can't fathom how many times I've missed out on a grab because it glitches. Just today, I've missed out on 6 from 5 matches. Survivors can spam unhook until I swing while trying to grab them, the animation starts, and then I swing. For reference, I don't camp. I may notice a survivor going for the unhook and follow them to get a potential grab.

You have to wait a bit longer for a hook grab. Gen grabs literally never work from my experience though

Grabs are horribly inconsistent ever since I started playing.
Best part is rewarding sneaky killer gameplay with not only failed grab, but also not even a hit while survivor runs away and you stand there with your extended arm, still locked in the animation like an idiot

It's worse when you have full stacks of STBFL.
Normally youd be able to just hit them twice before they get the save. But because of the grab animation, they can get the save because the game will think youre trying to grab them, force the animation which will get cancelled and then you can swing, by then they get the save. It's annoying.
Honestly, I would much rather a failed grab turn into a hit, than it just disappearing into the void giving survivors extra time to do things.

To be fair, spirit literally phases out of existence to grab survivors and they can't react. If I'm standing in front of a hook to catch the survivor, I should be able to grab them

Yeah I feel like I always get cucked out of grabs, but also laggy killers get to grab me when I've been in the running animation for a clean second.

Honestly, grabs feel awful for everyone. On the killer side, it feels like you constantly get stunned because you tried to M1 someone and the game decided to go for a grab, and then decided to cancel its grab, and then you were just standing there. On the survivor side, it feels like you sometimes get grabbed when you already cancelled your action or vaulted. The outcome literally feels random from both sides.

If they're not gonna fix the grab failures, it should at least register as a hit

I actually got scared by a grab while palying earlier. Went to hit around a corner window and it started the hit/snapped to a grab and then left me standing there with nothing.
The snap to the grab and then cancel actually made me jump lol.

This sums it up nicely. I've practiced the timing with my Amanda Panda and have it down pretty good, but the surv really has to not be paying attention and they are far from consistent

Grabs are such a weird thing.
It's like, the latency issues makes it look like you are grabbing while the game says 'No, you did not grab in time' but the game ALSO forgets that, if it's not a grab, it should be an attack. Both are M1.
And the fact that Survivors can literally bait this out for unhooks feels like an exploit, but that's neither here nor there. I mostly just lunge, since I'd rather an attack that 100% hits, instead of a grab that 0.000000000000001% works.
