Dead Hard Rework Idea

What if the animation stayed the same, the dash was slighty slower, and the I-frame was taken from you? This would take away using DH through trappers traps and through the killer while they're lunging , and before you get your pitchforks I understand distance was a big complaint , it would still give you distance to be a sort of mild counter to ranged killers who can zone you into a vault but the I frame before it would be gone making it not as strong in alot of ways , also what if dead hard allowed survivors to break walls? David is a rugby player and he's scrappy in the lore it would also suit his character. Any thoughts?
