Dead Hard Rework Idea
What if the animation stayed the same, the dash was slighty slower, and the I-frame was taken from you? This would take away using DH through trappers traps and through the killer while they're lunging , and before you get your pitchforks I understand distance was a big complaint , it would still give you distance to be a sort of mild counter to ranged killers who can zone you into a vault but the I frame before it would be gone making it not as strong in alot of ways , also what if dead hard allowed survivors to break walls? David is a rugby player and he's scrappy in the lore it would also suit his character. Any thoughts?

No the problem with DH is when used for distance. Just make it so when activated you become invincible for 1.5 seconds or so
Also the Trapper problem can be fixed by making bear traps ignore invincibility

Yes I know distance is a complaint that's why I suggested nerfing the distance slightly and taking away the I frame alot of people don't realize how bullshit that I frame really is in certain scenarios combined with that distance , I feel as if the distance wouldn't be as much of an issue if you weren't invincible during the dash and could be knocked out of it

It should just apply the "doctor stun" after dead harding so dead hard into pallet drop or window vault is no longer possible

But then that totally kills the perk and it might as well be a killer perk at that point because it would benefit them more than the survivor
