Feral Frenzy needs a counter

It's always the same: a teammate runs at you, leading the killer to you, gets hit, Legion x-ray locks on you, he's faster than you, there's almost 0% to run away, you get hit, mend+heal for 2 mins, get hit again, rinse and repeat.

Distortion doesn't work against Feral Frenzy, lockers don't block this x-ray wallhack too. That's the most annoying killer power in the game.

This is why most people don't heal against Legion. They can't down you in Feral Frenzy anyway.

If it relies on Legion's mistake, it's not really a counter. I think lockers should block that x-ray, that would be fair.

    bro just don't heal

Catching and hitting a survivor who knows how to loop entirely depends on them making a mistake. The much vaunted "Mind Games" that people love to throw around is just another way of saying "hope they make a mistake." This game is built in such a way that you depend on the other side making mistakes and playing poorly at every turn.

Again, if you rely on opponents mistake, that's not a counter. How many times do you see Legion missing a hit? It's mostly potatos, if you play in red ranks, you can't rely on it. Any killer power needs a least SOME kind of counter, that's the basic principle of any game.

All legion does is just make the game about chases. That’s literally the only interesting part of a match.

You can just rephase it as "don't get hit". That's a nice universal counter for all killer powers, I don't know why anyone even complains. Sarcasm mode off.

Maybe it's interesting for Legion players, but it's annoying for survivors, when you know that this homing x-ray killer will hit you no matter what and you must mend and mend and mend.

It super isn't though. The game has default strategies that work against the vast majority of killers. This is what Looping is.

Also, as mentioned above, you can just, you know, hold W to run away. The Feral Frenzy has a very short duration and survivors with a head start (which you will always have, thanks to the Heartbeat) will outdistance them every single time.

Let's also not forget that your entire complaint is "my team mates bring Legion right to me." Have you considered splitting up more so that you're not right next to somebody else?

any means necessary can be a counter to a legion pallet vault a legion can't vault it mid animation

    We're seriously complaining about Legion?

As many others have said, split up, don't heal, hold W, and juke.

Split up is the counter to Legion. Legion's entire power is injuring multiple survivors in one go. If you can negate that you've left them as an m1 killer.

Legion is annoying but still worst killer in my opinion.

As a Legion main, I can confirm that this is absolutely true.

I would refrain from nerfing one of the weakest killers in the game any further.

Literally just play better, the Legion are just m1 killers with no power once you are injured.

Feral Frenzy has a counter being a weak power.

Unless they're right on top of you, just start running as soon as you hear the heartbeat. There's no chance he'll catch up to you unless he's maybe running both the duration addons, but even then the distance between you and the Legion is usually too big.

Currently, the only way to counter killer instinct is to be in the deep wound state. However, you cannot stay in this state for long unless you keep running. Legion will see scratch marks if you run in the open. Just run loops in the basement until the hatch spawns.

The counter is that the killer is legion and he sucks. Pretty arguable that he's the weakest killer in the game right now and has been for a little while.

Not his mistake. You have to start running long before legion gets to you. The counter to legion is very simply lots of distance, and be less altruistic. Stay away from other survivors unless it’s safe. Don’t work on gens together. Don’t waste time healing unless it’s an excellent opportunity. Basically run AWAY!!!!

Meanwhile, killers all but rely on survivor mistakes to get ahead.

Legion's power is only strong if you and your team let it be strong. Seriously, out of all the Killers in the game, Legion is the most of a knowledge check. So how do you counter Legion?

    1. Don't bother with stealth. Once you see that first deep wound bar with no gunshot... That means if you can hear the heartbeat, Legion can see you. Start running asap.

    2. Frenzy cannot down you. That means if you're already injured do NOT use pallets or Dead Hard until you hear or see them leave their power.

    3. Mend in a safe place. You can stay in deep wound forever if you keep running. You don't have to stop and mend asap. Mending wherever is a good way to have Legion come back and catch you in the middle of nowhere.

    4. Healing is probably a bad idea. Legion is very good at getting you injured and healing up every time will waste too much time. So it is probably better to stay injured. However Legion knows this and probably brought perks to punish not healing. So... Play it by ear, but probably don't.

    5. Get good at looping. Legion has to down you with default 115% M1 gameplay. If you can deal with that, Legion isn't very good.

Problem is that trapper can be saved by addons. You can't really say that about Legion...

Jump over a window. Jump over the window again. They are now stunned on the other side of a loop.

You do realize that you don't have to heal constantly against Legion, right? Exhaustion perks also shut down his power, he can't chain if people aren't together...

With all of the weaknesses Legion's power has, when does a Survivor just admit they don't want to deal with any problems, ever, don't care about the Killer being a human and not a boss or AI, or don't want to adapt?

When does it become the Survivor's responsibility to adapt, instead of the game having to change?

    Legion is a noob-stomper.

If you group up and constantly heal games against legion will never end with the survivors winning.

Splitting up and running away if your in Legion's Terror radius when someone gets hit by deep wounds will keep you golden against legion.

Heck in most of my red rank legion games I can go through multiple games without using my power because I am never given a good opportunity to use it by the competent survivors.

Yeah the counter to Feral Frenzy is not being healthy. Legion's power is wounding you, if you can loops him effectively while injured he can't touch you. I'm a legion main and it's one of his biggest weaknesses. He's a lot of fun when everyone's healthy, but when everyone's injured he just becomes a boring m1 killer

Just don't heal. Then he becomes one of the worst killers in the entire game. I still don't get how people complain about terrible killers. It's weird. Can't I just enjoy my low tier in peace?

In hindsight, you're right, but there is more than just "you HAVE to be in deep wound". There are other tactics available.

Legion's power depends on survivors being near each other, so the counter is to split up. While in Feral Frenzy no survivor nearby can hide, but he can't down survivors while in Feral Frenzy. His power doesn't detect survivors in the Deep Wound state, and he can't see scratch marks. His power helps him get the first hit, but he has to be in normal M1 killer mode to get a down.

Seriously, the most efficient way to play survivor is to split up and work on separate gens far away from each other, anyway. Do that and Legion's screwed.
