Test a weekend with "Shroud of Binding" as basekit
With Lethal pursuer many realized how different spawns are and that they have a great impact on the game.
So i think it would be interesting to see what would happen to matches when all survivor always spawn together.
Spawning together also feels more like being in a horror film. You have many options to choose. Run towards the killer and take the heat. Split up or repair gens together.

Spawning together is a massive disadvantage for survivors.

I... yes... that's the point...

Yeah and my point being if survivors always spawned next to each other it'd be broken.

N...No... It would be BALANCED. What's broken is survivors spawning split on 3 even 4 gens meaning that no matter what you do by the time you get your first down the game can be more than half over even if you have a perfect chase. THAT is what's broken lol.

It wouldn't be balanced at all. You aren't meant to be 5 gening survivors. It would also be horrendous for new players and make Bubba absolutely ridiculously OP at lower levels.

ah I see you joined ten days ago. Aight someone else take this one I do not have the energy for it.

What is that even meant to mean?

you got it

my guy he is only suggesting to test how it would pan out not saying the game will be in the game forever, and just because we know the theoretical doesn't mean it would be bad to have statistics backing it, and for testing sake what if we did X for a single weekend to gather information on it to learn the average statistical difference spawns have on a match is a decent question to ask

We know what would happen if all survivors spawn together all the time hence why it isn't part of the game now. Newer players would bunch up and get totally annihilated. Killers with insta-down powers would be incredibly strong. People seem to want to furth stagnate the meta on this game by making situations guaranteed, notably in the killer's favour.

we all know "roughly" what would happen why he is suggesting is to test what would actually happen
since close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades he is suggesting that we should test it for a weekend to get some numbers behind it to see the actual impact that spread spawns have on matches in cold hard statistics not theoretical alone, a theory backed by statistics

i assure you even if they spawn close your not gonna feel a difference i they spawned farther

I think that all 4 survivors should spawn on the exit gate farthest away from the killer.

I'd rather have 1 gen get done in one early game chase instead of 3 gens because of spawns cucking me.

What I find more broken is a survivor spawning on top of a gen or a group of survivors spawning on a gen. Spawning together is fine, it's the fact they can start their objectives so quickly.

If that happens, they should have know better to split up immediately and go explore the map; instead of trying to gen rush the one gen together and not expecting a instant down killer like Bubba to capitalize on your mistakes! In those situation, they should have a plan to escape and prepare for incoming down; unless they have Prove Thyself and they could have the opportunity to knock the first gen they see!
Plus, if they split up and go explore the map; then they can afford to find the gens they can work on or totems; instead of the game giving then free objectives to work on at the start!
So, Shroud of Binding should be base kit, have the Survivors spawn together at a Exit Gate, as far away from the killer as possible; instead of spread out across the map and spawning next to a gen a totems and have the advantage to knock half the objectives for 80 seconds, before the killer can get their first down!
