does being a female survivor give you an advantage?

lately I've been noticing that most games I've been playing were usually female survivors, is there a reason why?

Their models are small and most are quiet when injured.

But there are people who like to play with them regardless because.. they are girls, you know.

There are some advantages to female characters. As Anniehere said, they're smaller. They also have different movement mechanics/animations to male characters, which a lot of people prefer (including myself). I generally play female survivors a bit more than male ones simply because of this, other than that I don't care about whether they're male or female.

Some people prefer the movement of the female survivors as it feels a little smoother.

Although it's worth noting that male survivors vault animation puts them further away from windows and can sometimes avoid trapper traps that are on the window, not sure if it helps avoid hits any better.

Each survivor has their own sounds and some are louder/quieter.

Generally when it comes to advantage with survivors the most advantagous are either claudette or ace

Ace is the quietest survivor, his injured noises and breathing noises are some of the hardest to hear.

Claudette ,as long as you wear dark clothes, is the hardest to see.

In one hand,Claudette its a ninja, in the other you can hear Bill cough from 3 maps away.

but in the other direction - Ace is almost silent even while injured and Meg's breathing is audible mapwide almost.
