Swf with coms have a massive impact on the game. Its not just play differently to compensate. There entire catagories of perks that this makes useless so that they can focus on meta perks. Suprise is taken away from the killer and a good team will almost always know where the killer is. Just that last one in the right hands is an automatic loss for 99% of games with these sweatier swfs. I'm not even suggesting any changes to this because im not purposing any here. All I want to know is if i am facing one. Thats it.

I know who you are talking about. IMO being banned for cheating makes more sense than her own explanation, which was that she clicked a link and got hacked.
Playing against her was always quite a miserable experience, I faced her like 10 times before SBMM was live.

But you trashing solo teams ("relatively high win rate") is fair? Why is no one doing something about it? Don't excuse it with "well because i'm good i won there". Killers are used to win most of their games, i'm too! Maybe those swf teams were just better or they had good RNG. Swf's are overrated, i played in so many 4mans where no one could loop longer than 15 seconds. Comms is not everything. We all know that the game is survivor sided on highest level but this only goes for tournament levels, not your random red rank pub matches. I play in 4mans since months only because solo is unbearable. And guess what, we don't escape more than 50% of our games. It highly depends on RNG, map, first decisions in a match/ early game, willingness to sweat from everyone, killers will to play "fair" etc. And a killer proxy camping and hard tunneling? It's the same for me, there is no counterplay except a few perks you can play around, and don't tell me it's fun gameplay to smash gens while the killer facecamps your friend to death because he had a bad day or doesn't know how to win any other way.

SWF is so misrepresented in this community. Yes you get those sweaty SWFs, yes they're an absolute PAIN to play against. But people almost forget just how many casual SWFs there are. If the killer is told that they're playing against a SWF, they might put on a toxic or tryhard build, and purposely play aggressive to a team that might just be playing casual. That will then just put that casual SWF off the game, and might cause a massive reduction in players.
You definitely play against more SWFs than you realise, you just don't know it since not all of them are toxic.

It would increase dodging, so no. This is why we don't see other players' ranks or perks in lobby, and also why they'll never show SWF. Queue times can already reach 10+ minutes for some of us. Let's not go making them longer.

Problem is not SWF, really. Communication gives an advantage but it's not game changing, some perks are giving enough infos.
Problem is facing 4 good survivors that do gens when not in chase and that can hold any killer for 60 seconds when in chases.
That's the problem. Add to this the 4 of them running DH, IW and DS and you have a total unbalanced game.
By unbalance i mean you can't win properly as a killer, you have to slug and proxy camp... and don't mind hooking twice in a row the same surv. It's a terrible experience for both sides.

You need to play both sides. Killers are not OP in a SBMM environment.
They were OP when most of the trials were against potatoes rank 1.
Now that it is skill based, in high rank you have 100% competent survivors and killers are weak as hell. It doesn't mean you can't win as a Killer but you see all the flaws there is in the game.
I play both side at a good level (i'm a better survivor though).

You are not getting the difference between bad and good swfs. I'm not trashing anything except the unbalanced state that swf can be at high level. Swfs can wait a bit longer for killers who also will play sweaty.
All this talk about killer woes is just what aboutisms. An "us vs them" mentality because you dont like what im purposing. This will also help solo q a bit against some killers. Some killers choose to go into a game and play using those dirty tactics you are talking about. If they dont and its one of these teams its an automatic loss. Just because they dont know who they are facing they are forced to assume it will be a sweaty swf or risk an L. If those same killers saw a whole group of solo q or maybe just a 2 man or 3 man they may be less inclined to play like this. Wherer is my killer bias? use you know what you can blame? swf. Its because of these swfs that these killers do this becaus of my scenario i painted above.
If you actually want to do something about these scummy tactics that some killers Thats a game balance talk and im not even talking about that here. I dont agree with killers who do that stuff in non sweaty environments. I agree those games suck but thats their only tool against those teams. So if they balance out swf then they can try and do something about killers playing like this. It'll have to be after they balance swfs though otherwise you are punishing the killer for just trying to stay competitive at the highest level

Are you saying that you dont want to risk going against a sweaty killer because you dont know who you are facing? Welcome to my view, except reversed. The difference is that these swfs use outside tools to give them an advantage.
Those casual swfs will play at a lower skill rating and wont see the sweat fest. Or you might be saying that you like playing against casual killers and dont want to see high rank killers? Either way swf gets to usee unfair outside help like coms and stretch res. So let the killers decide if they want to deal with it or not

My survivor que times are instant solo and swf. My killer wait times are forever soooo who has long wait times? I seriouslyu doubt you are getting 10 min+ survivor que times. At the cost waiting longer they get to use outside help like coms. yeah i think they can wait . Or at aminimum we can test and see if its even a thing. I predict that it wont have much impact on wait times. They tested mmr for a year they can test this too.

Show it in the lobby so I can dodge them in solo Q as well. More often than not they leave you to die on hook.

If that's her reasoning it definitely sounds pretty dumb lol It's just a Spirit main, that's why it's so bad.. if we weren't drinking and got a different map I think we would've definitely got at least 2 out.
I really need to brush up on all the well known streamers tbh lol genuinely for having 4,000 hours in this game I don't know the community that well.
That's exactly the problem. People forget that the really good swfs are all extremely good at looping, with no weak links.
If 3 survivors run Kindred, and are all extremely good at this game then you don't really need comms. There will be times where comms can make a difference but they aren't as much as people would think.
The first down especially as killer usually decides the game.
Also sorry if this is a mess but I was having a drink last night and have only had 3 hours sleep.

Now, when i play killer, i play somewhat dirty... I mean i don't hesitate to slug, to come back on hooks etc... So much that some survivors suicide...
I have never played like this before and i know how terrible the experience is for them as i also play survivor (mainly in fact).
It is sad that the state of the game force the killer to use terribly cheap mechanics to get a 3K...

Ino it isn't fun, but it's necessary a lot of times. If you get to 2 gens left and someone is death hook, you need to get that person dead by any means.
Unfortunately this game forces each side to play in a way they don't want to and use perks they don't like.

SBMM is a ######### nightmare. I have to sweat my ass off every single game to try and get close to getting 2 kills. I realise this is the point of the system, but while improving matchmaking, it sucks all the fun out of the game. Before, I'd face amazing teams, awful teams, and teams in-between. Now it just feels like I face coordinated SWF constantly.

Most survivor mains don't want killers knowing they're in a swf becuase the killer would dodge. If swf isn't strong why do killers leave the lobby? "Oh just pressure gens" "imagine not wanting people to play with friends" no thats not the point.
