Make (HEX) Totems spawn after 30 seconds.

@Sycrome Just started a discussion about Totem / Survivor spawns.

It might be a good idea to have HEX Totems come out of the ground 30 seconds after the match has started. This way, as a killer, you don't lose 1 or sometimes even more HEX perks within 30 seconds at the start of the match.

Please let me know your opinion.

No instead you will lose them 60s after the match started.

Interesting Idea though. I would like to plant my Hex myself though. Although you'd need to see the totem locations because it would take too much time to find a spot as killer

i doubt it they can resolve and make customization . Since Hit validation and ping always become a problem since the beginning of release of the game.

It would be better to just fix totem vs survivors spawns, imo.

A 30 sec delay doesn't necessarily work in favor of the killer.

If you experience your Hex totem being cleansed very fast I recommend 3 things (which all can be combined)

    1. Defend it early. Check if there is anyone around who might have spotted it, if so; be merciless against that survivor. A bit of a tunnel to make sure you hook that person far away should give you a lot of breathing time.

    2. get Hex:Undying. Even if your important Hex perk is found easily, it will at least spawn somewhere else. Or they find you Undying which means the important Hex perk stays alive longer.

    3. Throw a little Haunting Ground in the mix. That way it is a 50/50 for the survivor if it's worth cleansing. Sometimes you get unlucky and they find the right one but they'll also get more greedy when they see another Hex; which will screw them over.

I hope this helps. It will definitely improve your Hex situation if you try it out.

In the end, just accept the fact that your Hex will be found sooner or later. And if isn't found that's great but don't count on it.

Good luck in your next match!

P.S. So when I, as a Legion main, immediatly find 3 survivors on a gen with Discordance my Ruin should just wait 30 seconds before kicking in? XD

More consistent and helpful would be for the hex to not apply to a dull totem until the effect takes place. And the killer get very clear audio and visual notifications of when this happens (such as when a survivor lets go of a gen with Ruin for the first time).

Like Plaything, hexes should be protected by the entity for 90 secs?
