I like how slinger got nerfed because he was not fun to play against but they never change dead hard

Before if you pressed deadhead at the correct time, and dodged it, sometimes you would still be downed because the killers game didn't register that you dodged before their side registered that they hit you.
Now I believe the game synchs better and you don't sometimes succeed and sometimes fail for hitting it at the right time, but succeed if you timed the move appropriately.
Also Slinger is still fun to play as killer +shrug+ not sure why you're struggling, but he was hardly nerfed. They weakened and empowered him at the same time.

if you never played slinger BEFORE the update, you don't have the actual knowledge to see how decent / good he was,

I was referencing how they HAD changed it. Do you not see the pathway of thought there? Because it seem clear to me. Especially since this thread is about how Dead Hard has changed.

I was the top 5 slingers Na for making amazing shots, through cubby holes and 18+ meter shots. Perkless and not Perkless..
I've held my own against decent / good survivors when it came down to it, even in comp.
This patch 100% hurt slinger and if you Never played him before patch, you have No idea what it was like to have fun as slinger..

Dead hard literally works like it supposed to since release. they just fixed dedicated problem. Changing dead hard means real changes, you know, how they changed deathslinger because he was unfun to play against
You can argue about if dead hard was changed or not but you know what? it became even more unfun to play against and devs done nothing to fix this, unlike deathslinger.

But it takes so much skill, pressing E to gain an extra loop that leads into another loop next to yet again another loop! They EARNED that extra minute of chase time!!!
Perk is garbage, easily the best Survivor perk and NOTHING even comes close. Sprint Burst is good but not as good as Dead Hard, Iron Will comes close for negating an entire mechanic (which is the dumbest ######### I have ever seen), and Unbreakable/Decisive are good but situational.
Nothing touches Dead Hard in terms of raw power and utility, this perk deserves a massive drawback, such as hindered after using it or just delete the invincibility frames.
The fact that a C tier Killer like Trapper can be hard countered by an S tier Survivor perk is STUPID.

You're fretting over semantics and clearly don't know how to communicate dude. There was a literal change. It was a "real" change, because now it functions differently. It functions differently in the manner that it now works properly. You don't seem to understand the meaning of the words you're using, and are claiming to be "clear as a mountain river" which shows you don't understand interpersonal communication skills.
There is no argument as to whether or not it changed, lol. You're more than welcome to want to, but in that circumstance you're simply more focused on being correct than recognizing what's literal and real.
The devs made the change on purpose, and it's supposed to help survivors so of course they aren't going to "fix" what isn't broken anymore. It being annoying is inevitable when it's a perk specifically used to be invulnerable for half a second in timed right. I don't get why I have to explain that.
