Why the complaints about MDR? She's a blind Wraith now, and Wraith has better mobility base kit. Much better with Windstorm.
If we're nerfing speed add ons because "muh reaction time" then you can nerf MDR at the same time you nerf Blight, Billy, and Oni speed add ons.

MDR increases her movement speed by too much without a big downside. I don’t want to have to keep repeating myself. I’m a Spirit main and it does need a nerf or some kind of downside.

I’ll be honest I haven’t seen a single good survivor player actually complain about her power now, the only complaints have been about specific addon combinations which are a bit much.

It doesn’t matter what you change about spirit, there will always be people who want her to be nerfed into the ground until she actually gets hard gutted and feels terrible to play and is super easy to win against. Aka what happened with deathslinger.
Personally I’m mostly fine with spirit as she is now; only thing I’m unsure about is MDR + cherry blossom (I still have yet to play against a spirit with it). I’ve been playing her more too since I don’t feel guilty doing it.

You said it needed a big downside with no explanation of why. I brought up other iri add ons that have no downsides. It's ok to have good add ons. And it already has a downside of losing scratch marks, making tracking of iron will users even harder.

Scratch mark downside is barely noticeable when you move at the speed the add on gives you.

unpopular opinion but nurse does not need a nerf, and a lot of those killers don't really need huge buffs. Not every killer needs to be the current S tier.

The only thing I have concerns about with current spirit is one of the addons that gives you killer instinct when you're near survivors while phasing
I know it's a purple but damn, killer instinct as a mechanic has no counter to it.

It does. She's invisible and shouldn't be reactable, and now she is because of the directional sound cue. I can only imagine myself playing her with the strongest add-ons possible, because that's what she needs now to be viable.

Spirit sucks, Iron Will completely obliterates her and over 90% of my lobbies have 3 to 4 iron will users

just yesterday I decided to experiment and see if a classic swf can handle losing against perks that are against the survivor rulebook so i played legion with noed rancor franklins insidious with the iri button and the defaced button plus an ebony mori
the results were they brought me to haddenfield they all had flashlights and meta perks
and guess how they reacted. sadly in the yt video I made, I ended it before the end game chat was shown but they were NOT happy
they proceeded to tell me how bad of a person I was and how I am supposed to play and ended it all with 3 new rep- comments under my steam profile and im not even a good legion
just goes to show that if you do anything that a survivor can't abuse they will feel entitled to tell you how much of a loser they think you are for using something that the game gave you with the expectation for you to use it

What kind of logic is that? Otz does fine with Trapper, doesn't mean he's a good killer. Spirit relies entirely on sound for tracking while in phase and Iron Will users emit ZERO sound and footsteps are stupid hard to hear. She is not good

You have to play in a different way against Iron Will users. It’s a boring way, which is part of the reason I hate Iron Will and think it needs a nerf but they’re not unbeatable by any means. You have to short burst against them otherwise you’ll mind game yourself.

I think this is the minority of survivors. I really like the new Spirit changes and also only want to see some add-on changes. She's going to get hits 100% at short loops but the rest have really good mind game potential.
It's just the same as the minority of killers who complain about nerfing basically all the survivor meta perks into the ground.
The vocal minority is always louder than the content majority.

All I want is for Spirit to have consistent counter play, and her recent nerfs I think are good enough (if the dust actually works)
no killer should be nerfed just because they’re good, they should be nerfed if they’re TOO good, and pre-nerf Spirit was simply TOO good

I may be on of few, but nothing really changed since she got "nerfed". I still to this day don't understand how they could gut Death slinger a killer with no mobility into ground, but keep spirit , the killer with high mobility pretty much untouched. If anything it should have been the other way around, do some tweaks to Slinger and nerf Spirit.

As of today... I have only faced off against a Spirit maybe 5-6 times through out my time playing this game
So I mess up a lot against a Spirit... but I'm fine with the changes they have made
But then it seems like they wanted to do something to "stand still to mindgame" part of her gameplay
And another thing... some of her addons I won't be using cause they won't work with my playstyle with her

I think the problem is that Spirit can move so quickly that it really doesn't matter even if you know where she's at. I don't think it's because people just want to bully her... I can see why people still find her annoying and unfun.

this goes for every killer. if its a challenge, nerf it. i hope that the survivors get a heavy nerf to their gen speeds, gen taps, 99ing and swf. they can buff solo survivors. But swf just destroys the whole game for me

I'm sorry, but have you ever played Spirit with MDR? Do you know how difficult is to track people when you move at +40% speed? You need to be a bat to hit healthy and

Audio queue sounds is not a nerf to me if that is the nerf people talking about or am missing something else, that audio queue is more of a ear bleed thing like boon totems ear bleed sounds as its not like you still can know where she is coming. dust kicking need to be added then she be more fair. She can have all the speed she wants am fine with that but like all other killers you can see or tell where they some way cept pervy myers when he stalking unless your running spine chill and I rather him giving me jump scares for just creeping up on me vs spirit

100% agree. I'm a former spirit main and I miss playing her(I didn't use stridor before) she feels so add on dependent now. Just to clear up a huge misconception you had literally 5 seconds to make a read off of the info and put yourself in position to make the play she wasn't as mindless as people tried to make her sound alot of what made her easy was survivor predictably even when I phased most survivors would do the exact same thing as if I was trying to m1.

If you have the right add on yes but now the survivors seem to be able to know almost my exact position and can put them self in an optimal position because unless I'm running top add ons your not coving as much ground as people think

Honestly yeah - I want Spirit deleted - Still isn't fun to play against but she's bearable with the audio change but still not great to play against.
I'm fine with Nurse for example because her power is telegraphed - I just have zero sympathy for Spirit players getting gen rushed because out of every killer in the game she's just boring and unfun to play against. I tried to be open minded about the change but nah there's no balancing her to be fun to play against especially compared to other killers.
I am admittedly also a biased Nurse main. I'm of the opinion that if a killer is strong they shouldn't be brainlessly easy to play either.

I feel like I’m going in circles every time I tell people she’s fine but I’ll say it again: She. Moves. At. One. Hundred. Seventy. Six. Percent. Movement. Speed. In case you haven’t realized, that is pretty fast which makes knowing her location not that big of a deal if you make the right reads and play her correctly.
