Ez way to fix the boom totems You can only bless a totem if it is a Hex.
You can only bless a totem if it is a Hex otherwise you don't have a perk. Rick and Reward
I think is more balanced that way and removes all the bad aspects of the booms like you can place it anywhere you want.
If a killer destroy a boom then the hex will come back this way if you want to remove the hex you must destroy the totems or if you want to keep your boom you need to bless it again.

What if the killer doesnt bring a hex perk? Just make it so survivors can only bless a totem once.

I see that you are just trying to use Soul Guard style, but Soul Guard has huge effect on top of hex requirement part.
CoH is broken imo, but this is really not the way.
This would make it 100% useless.

I like the idea of you being able to get your Hex back after it's getting Blessed. But the rest of it, no.
I honestly think that if the killer Snuff the Boon, the Totem will break completely. Not only would it make things easier for the killer, but it would also make the new Hex perk a pretty good counter for Boons.

Personally I hate them but I also don't have a problem with them.....yet anyhow. This is the wrong way to "Fix" them anyhow. No sides perks should be dependant on the other sides perks....If that makes sense. Hope I said that right haven't even finished my Red Bull yet.

Soul guard, Distortion, Calm Spirit, Sole Survivor.
Frenklyn's demise, Lightborn are limited by perks.
Then you have lot of perks where value changes based on other side's actions. Also SWF vs SoloQ

Nah this is way too far.
Just make it that every time you bless a totem, it increases the next time you try and bless a totem by 8 seconds (or some time similar to that) therefore survivors have to spend longer and longer each time the killer finds it or if they want to change their spot.

So out of roughly 200 perks you came up with a few. Soul Guards main purpose is endurance after getting up by a teammate/unbreakable (nothing to do with killer perks) then a additional bonus of getting up yourself if cursed by hex (There's one). Distortion makes sense, Calm spirit is so you don't alert crows (woodland creatures) just so happens to prevent screams which helps against certain perks/killers but not dependent on them, Sole Survivor (who the ######### cares), Franklins is items not perks, and Lightborn is also Flashlight/items just so happens 20 killers later helps with Blast Mine/Flashbang.
Perks value can go up or down depending on who your playing/their loadout but nothing dependent on perks except a couple aura reading perks.

This is not a good way to nerf them. Either getting snuffed breaks the Totem,puts the Boon on a cooldown or Boons have a few Tokens and once the Tokens are used, the Perk is no more

As much as i hate boons this wouldnt be a fix, unless the boon sudendly becomes as wide area as a hex (wich would be absolutly horrible to happen) there are better ways to balance boons.
Give them limited uses per trial 3/4 uses are more than enought.
A cool down after a totem its blessed, something around 90/80/70 depending on rarity its more than enought
increase the time each totem needs to be reblessed, +5 seconds per blessing would make them have a higher risk the more they are used.
Make it so a totem CANT have more than a single boon on it, if you have two or more you have to pick wich one you want to use on that particular spot
