True no matter how balanced the game is you will always see killer doing it cause 1. They can and 2. They know you hate it but If the game was balanced the majority of killers would not so it cause its unfun af for us but at the moment it atleast ensures a 1k and that has nothing to do with gi gut or anything because even if I'm the worst killer ever I should get matched with the forst survs ever but the current matchmaking let's you rise to the top in mmr with killer after just a couple of games and you can really feel it.
My wife never plays killer cause she gets motion sick so her overall killer mmr must be bottom she asked me. If I would do some challenges for her and cause she has killer I don't have. After three in numbers 3!! Games I had the same difficulty I have with My killer main account and I didn't even played for 4ks or anything just chilling doing a 2k at max and doing some old challenges this can't be right

Then make noed, corrupt and bloodwarden base kit too.
If survivors need anti tunnel/camp measures by default, killers need anti genrush stuff.

Don't make stupid saves, genrush killers who camp and leave then with 1/2 hooks. That's how you solve the issue. Devs literally gave you all the tools needed, use them or at least don't cry if you refuse to use them.

Without the right perks and/or coordination (i.e. solo queue), camping and tunneling wins out every time. You simply cannot complete five generators and open the gates in time mathematically.

Killers don't tunnel random survivors, we tunnel the weak ones so we have better chance to win.

Unsafe unhooks should grant a BT effect on the unhooked survivor and an exposed status on the unhooker, so that they think it twice before farming teammates and still feeds the hook to the killer.

There should be some penalization, if killer hooks same surv twice in row. Or maybe not after 2nd hook, but definitely if killer tunnel one person until third hook.
Meanwhile I am writing this comment, I wait in lobby after nutshell game. I was tunneled by consol player with lags. 5000 points for game and 10 minutes waiting in lobby until my friends finish this trash game. He ignore others, he ignore everything. Just brainless tunneling.

Let's be real my friend I'm a killer to bud tunneling a guy straight from. The hook that's unnecessary but if he runs into me by accident that's fair game. Hard tunneling musst be prevented some how but without giving the survs the power to. Abuse it to harras the killer but then the game needs to be more balanced so killer have a chance without tunneling so hard

Tunneling isn’t just about how skillful a survivor is.. a chimpanzee can hit a survivor one second immediately after they are unhooked. No skill will save you in that scenario.

SBMM prevents that you know. Do about 20-30 killer games then get the SBMM in and you'll just get survivors who know how to run you for 2-3 gens. If you break chase for another they'll run you for more gens. And guess what? They'll hold the game hostage. Until you just force them out.

Survivors need DS base-kit? Then killers should get NOED base kit. Hate to break it to you, but the other guy basically farmed you. In that situation the killer is going to take advantage of it. DS is just one get out of jail free card, just like dead hard. It's not even an anti tunnel perk it's just an annoying thing to waste time in the game.

I play killer a lot, no need to explain me what it is like.
Maybe the tunneling playstyle boosted your skill and now you are facing survivors who are way above your skill level if you try to play in a non-tunneling way.

If you don't tunnel the unhooked guy, it will not waste your time.
Or if you down the unhooked survivor just don't pick it up. They will waste a lot of time on the ground... A DS would insta heal them and stun you.

The devs are not interested in penalizing killers for tunneling. Why use the stick when you can provide the carrot instead? There should be something to incentivise killers to go for the rescuer rather than the unhooked survivor.

Agreed. Tunneling sucks. I've had it where I get hardcore tunneled and my teammates don't help at all. Make it so getting off the hook grants 30 seconds of immunity unless you go to a generator or do an action other than a locker action

30 secs of immunity are u even real?- do u know how much time 30 secs are? is pretty much half a gen done by one survivor, and then you have ds in top of that

Lmao what. You have 60 seconds of immortality with DS basically. You're saying they should be able to get an instant heal and a stun? You can hide in a locker and basically get a free DS strike. You're just saying survivors should be god tier while as killer you're going against 16 perks with only 4 perks. Be rational here

Obviously you don't know what it's like lol. You're trying to give survivors a huge boost cause you got farmed. Sorry but me not tunneling or camping is what caused my MMR to go that high.

I think the best option for this would be some form of BT being basekit and making it much shorter, and making the survivor with it active lose collision. DS doesn't really need to be basekit, BT feels like the most reasonable one because honestly you should be going for the unhooker anyways.

Ok but also a built in tunnel wouldn't be ridiculous and you wouldn't need to harshly nerf gen times either, most anti slugging, tunneling, and camping things anyways get countered by just, not doing that so hard lmao. If you don't like needing to run 4 gen slowdown, then don't tell others they have to run 4 perks to counter killer plays. That being said, if you tell them to run said second chance perks, don't be mad that it is all that is used.

If that kind of patch would ever be implemented, it should come with a patch that locks generators for a minute each time survivors progresses 25% on it. If killers should not tunnel the same survivor until he/she dies, I don't see why survivors should be entitled to repair the same generator until completion.

Maybe. But I think the problem with tunnel is that even lower skilled players can do it, there is often not much skill required from the killer to do it. But a lot of skill and cooperation required from survivors to be able to counter that.

No. You need to learn not to fall. You already have all the skills for a Dead Hard or DS type to forgive your mistakes. At the same time, the Killer has nothing.

that makes no sense. if I'm tunneled until death, I can't do anything about it. if Ghostface was tunneling me, I wouldn't be able to do anything about it unless I pay, and at that point, the game is pay to win.
And if this does happen, the generators can instead send a silent notification to the killer that you have passed 25% so if the killer isn't super observant they don't see the notif and the perks are still useful
