2 different threads created within 12 hours of each other, both basically saying the exact same thing. Someone let a survivor really tilt them today.

So what your saying is if dead hard is removed then killers won't need anymore buffs? 😂 that's what it sounds like to me.
Someone definitely hasn't played survivor enough to see the alternatives to dead hard.
5 -
I enjoy No Way Out. Keeps you off tunneling and pressuring different survivors.
Meeting already hooked dude on a patrol is more of a coincidence rather then tunneling…which some people still see as a tunneling

Biased entitled killer main spotted.
9 -
I can guarantee you that facing 4 people who know how to use their Sprint Burst is even worse, which is what would happen if Dead Hard was gone.

Killer's abusing Ping to DH's Bug during 4 years means nothing for you ? when you hit a survivor ,sometime he's crying , Blame devs 's hit validation from your side because it's legit from survivor's side , saw it from differents POV . As killer i dont have many problem with DH , usually i take 1 or 2 DH if i forgot X survivor got DH . Killer is easy enough atm, remember how it was in 2016 and you will remember your pain, dbd is atm 50/50 Survivor/Killer than it was before, Think about YOUR Skills before says it's the others mistake , i'm sure the next thing you will complain is "HOLD W" . well merry XMAS and enjoy the game as it .

This is my song as a Killer when I outplay someone on a safe tile and I get rewarded with press E for win

Imagine when DH gets nerfed hard, so the good players greed less, but play good all the same, changing nothing :D
(honestly, I think that DH is a bit too good, otherwise it wouldn't be nearly an auto include/no brainer for the high MMR players. But good players will always be good, be it with DH or without)

3.4K hours legacy 2 jake and legacy 1 billy, all dlc, all killers P3 (or nearly) every survivor perks, around 1K survivors all the rest killer, I play both side but still is a killer main, I know the game extremely well and no not because DH would be nerfed/removed killers won't need any more buffs, but all I am saying is if the perk would be removed/nerfed the chases would be WAY easier than they are because if the chase should have ended it will simply end.
Making them way shorter than they should because DH extended it way more than it should, yes maps would still need balance, big maps should be smaller, and many other things, it's not only DH the issues, but it's a big big big factor and I am sure a big majority of killers will agree if they don't deal with a dead hard the game is most of the time easier because the chases ends sooner.
DH is one of the biggest issues right now, because it works too well with how the maps/loops are designed, if DH gets removed/changed, it won't change the maps issues, but it will be less bad to deal with because this perk won't be an issue anymore.

Same as killers with noed. If you see 0kills before egc, the killer uses noed. And then he came here complaining because survs are op
3 -
idc about sprint burst and barely complain about it, you can tell they have it before they even use it, so you can try to get around it, you can't with DH, yes SB can be a pain in the ass too, but not as much as DH, the main complain I have about DH is that is messes with the hitbox for some reason, sprinburst is 150% and a lunge is like 172% or something? so why do we still miss even tho we are right on them? that's my main complain about it and mostly the only one.

Run fear monger (or whatever it’s called now). It’s the new Meta and has proven to be quite effective, so no “I shouldn’t have to Sacrafice a perk slot blah blah blah” excuse.
6 -
The day Dead Hard will be nerfed, the Killers will jump to the next Perk. I would bet on Sprint Burst, once they realize that this can be far more annoying than Dead Hard.
10 -
Right.
All the threads are killers complaints? 3rd party sites making articles how people are ranting for lightborn.
Have you checked the suggestion & feedback section on forums? Killer rant everywhere
Only thing that will always be balanced in this game is ranting survivors : killers
Please do. Swap DH for SB and show them killers how lucky they were while u were DH.

NOED is trash. Most of the time I used it it's cleansed after the first down I get with it. It's nowhere near as strong as DH is for survivors.
0 -
i swear people dont realize that SB is much worse than DH.
i take DH any day easy to bait
SB they run out of dead zones for safe pallet a mile away :socry:
2 -
Literally none of the perks in this game require skill, why are people that use Dead Hard the only ones that are 'shamed' for using a 'skill-less' perk when no perk requires skill.
5 -
There was no Lightborn riot.
It was the most fabricated drama i've ever seen here. No one was effected, and no one cares.
17 -
"Annoyed about NOED? Just take Dead Hard then, you noob :D"
*survivors equip Dead Hard and Unbreakable*
"Noooo you're just hiding your lack of skills, you're only using this perk because you don't want to git gud D:"
6 -
Jeezus killers complain about any decent survivor perk if they can’t get a 4k every game. Before you know it killers will complain about no mither being OP.
8 -
No. The day DH gets nerfed, will be the day killers start to advocate for a SB nerf.
Because If you didn’t like Dead Hard, you are definitely not going to like Sprint Burst.
It’s funny how some people are still under the impression that “oh no you effed up, must press E!” When that survivor deliberately positioned themselves on that spot to make you think that they had nowhere to go, so you would swing and miss.
7 -
Haha you are funny.
The day DH gets nerfed, survivors will play overcome. The day overcome gets nerfed, survivors will play SB. The day SB gets nerfed, survivors will play lithe. The day lithe get's nerfed, survivors will play BL. The day BL get's nerfed, I'd be surprised if DBD still existed.
In all seriousness though, there is a reason why exhaustion has been meta since day 1 of this game: Free value for 0 input (except for headon and smash-hit ... but when do you ever see smash-hit, right?).
So if you want to nerf deadhard, you have to nerf the entire exhaustion set.
While we're at it, can we nerf free value killer perks, too? cough ruin undying cough
... we all know that's not going to happen :(
4 -
Yup. Neverending nerf this nerf that. There are a number of killer perks I don’t like to play against but I just deal with it.
3 -
Never ran Dead Hard before, definetly not a bad survivor.
0 -
They'll never nerf dead hard.

I dont know. Borrowed Time and Iron Will get a lot of flak, too, because of how they are abused to aggressively bodyblock instead of getting savely away from the hook or shut down a lot of hunting avenues for killers and even whole powers (spirit), but to NO extend like DH. DH is so frigging strong, offers so much and is truely meta in a way that you have to play like everyone has it and curb your killerinstincts to strike them puny, little survivors once they are in your clutches. On one hand, this isnt that bad, but you probably havnt experienced the way, how your heart sinks and frustration rises, when you did everything right, and still the best second chance perk allows the survivor to pull your leg and get away, scott free.
CoH is the other perk that most people agree on is busted and way too strong. There are ways and tactics around it, too, but it is all very tedious and seeing feisty and corny survivors fast vaulting just out of your reach and then healing up completely in the time it takes you to get to them is very, very frustrating.
Some killers will always be whiny bxtches, and yeah, there are about 3 other perks that are always mentioned as being too strong, or very strong, and if DH got nerfed, we would still want to see them curbed down, too, but its not as if all killers whine all day. We also try to kill you <3
One last thought: there are killer perks that are very often picked, like Corrupt Intervention, Pop, BBQ, etc. but you will also see vastly different builds. With survivors you quite often see multiple of them, who sport the unholy meta perk foursome, ie DH, BT, IW, DS or at least three of these. If some meta takes over that much that it effectively becomes a no-brainer/auto-include, its a very good indicator that some option is too strong. We will never have an ideal game, where every perk is equally played, but its always a good aim to curb down the strongest and strengthen the weakest links in a chain, so that its overall strenght becomes higher and more builds and playstyles become viable.

You’ll see when they nerf camping and tunneling. Hordes of killers will come here crying blood.
4 -
Wait but you can easily demolish ruin + undying within the first 30 seconds of game.... you can't do that with DH, every time you gotta assume they have it as a killer....
0 -
Even tru talent uses dead hard
0 -
Lots of content creators use dead hard, because perks are meant to be used and literally who cares what you run.

Cant wait for dead hard to get bonked with the nerf bat
2 -
same, waiting for it

it's a bad strategy, not a perk, you can't balance something that is that much to the core of the gameplay, a perk is an addition to the gameplay, this cna be changed, if a killer want someone dead they have the right to do so, it sucks really bad yes and you hate the killer for doing it, but if you hate it, my hate for dead hard is also justified, nerf camping? make the timer go slower, you can't stop tunneling, you have teammates and DS, if all this fail, you are doomed, nothing you can do about it.

Regarding DH, true yes, hence why I think it deserves a nerf.
Regarding ruin+undying, theory and practice are two different things. There is a reason why so many killer players run this combo. Like I said, free value for nothing.
0 -
Well not entirely true. First of all you need to chase off people from generator, so you need to something for it, otherwise the perk is useless. Secondly survivors memorised totem spawn locations, also they have tools to deal with it (various perks, maps etc).
Maybe, maybe it can be problematic with nurse and blight, but otherwise I don't think so that perk combo such a big deal.
I stopped using ruin+undying because it was destroyed quite early, however lately Hex:Pentimento made me to use them again. Of course most survivors boon my hexes, so I can't have a good usage of Hex:Pentimento....

You are for sure the killer who has tunnel vision, tunnels one guy and
- if he loops you whole match and you finally catch him, you facecamp them and in the end screen you cry about gen rushing
- if he loops you whole match and you cant even catch him you disconnect because its #########.
You cry about dead hard but for sure you use meta perks like 3 gens block in the beginning aling with noed.
Most of killers I see they never have a tactic to win , they just cry how this and that op is but when you see what the hecj is oje doing during match you ask yourself - is it another baby killer with 10hours?
Then you look up hour time - 999hours and yeah... another dumb player....
Ehh
1 -
I don't have an issue with it really, except for when its used to negate a hit that lands, i.e a hatchet in the back.
0 -
I don't tunnel, only when someone is being a real ass, other than this I don't, if you are the only one I find and you are injured I go for you because it's the smart thing to do, if someone unhooks you and I see them 85% of the time I go for the unhooker, so stfu

I usually dont run dead hard, but i also hope for the day when stretched res and color filters are banned from the game, so killers can show their skill instead of just using extra programms to nullify stealth.
5 -
"What's worse about this is you do nothing to earn this strong game changing second chance perk, just be injured???? Seriously."
is an absolutely NON argument. Let me show you why.
Lithe :
What's worse about this is you do nothing to earn this strong game changing second chance perk, just VAULT A WINDOW???? Seriously.
Sprint Burst :
What's worse about this is you do nothing to earn this strong game changing second chance perk, just START SPRINTING???? Seriously.
Balanced Landing :
What's worse about this is you do nothing to earn this strong game changing second chance perk, just FALL FROM A STAGGER HEIGHT???? Seriously.
Head On :
What's worse about this is you do nothing to earn this strong game changing second chance perk, just JUMP OUT OF A LOCKER???? Seriously.
Im not saying that dead hard doesnt need to be looked at, but this part of your argument doesnt make any sense simply because the other exhaustion perks are just as simple, if not SAFER to use.
2 -
too many things to deal with, bhvr will never adress those since they have no clue how
1 -
Don’t forget Spine Chill.
2 -
I agree, tho I think they will drop pallets earlier, which means survivors will have less resource by end game.
1 -
Lithe, Balanced you need to be alert and interact with the environment around you and sometimes the killer hits you before you reach that window or hill. Dead Hard you just press a button. Sprint Burst extends a chase by 5-10 seconds at the beginning and then they are exhausted. Dead Hard can extend a chase for 2-3 gens if you keep chasing.
1 -
if it is, why everyone use DH over SP?
1 -
fact
2 -
DH extend the chase more than SP ever will, that's why nearly everyone use DH
