I think DS should deactivate on endgame, and BT have a minor active time
How many times SWF's abuse those perks to get everyone out, DS should be a anti-tunneling perk, but there are a lot of instances where people use it just to mess with the killer at endgame, same with BT, i think these should be nerfed in endgame because, cmon its endgame, everything goes. What do you think?

I personally wouldn't like to see DS or BT get nerfed end game persay, I do think the killer should get a lot more end game perks though. Other than like NOED and like some obscure perk I've never heard of. The killer lacks ways to punish survivors for not escaping fast enough. Maybe even give like a perk that prevents injured survivors (or freshly unhooked maybe) from escaping the trials while giving the survivors a boost in healing speed (to balance it out a lot better [Kinda like how Dying Light (Myers perk) balances itself])

I disagree.
As killer, you can force them to use DS. If they have it at the end game, then either you failed to do so, or they just outplayed you, neither of which should result in the survivor losing a perk.
I would be all for a system where you can activate 5 sigils around the map to remove DS from everyone for the match, though, because at least then there would be effort to remove it.

And no, both perks are fine. I would nerf BT for no bodyblock, that's all.

Yeah i think DS just needs a bit tweaks and it would be mostly fine, but BT bodyblocking is annoying

What do I think? I think SWF needs to be removed from public matches and restricted to KWF. Maybe cap SWF to Two players for public, but definitely not 3 & 4.

I think at least have a icon to know they are a SWF, maybe the altruism icon over their name like the crossplay icon

Imagine not having the option to play with your friends in an online game. And no, custom games are not count.

They’re the minority. Killers & solo Que players would be very happy. The game would be better balanced. Personally I don’t think anyone would miss those entitled brats. This forum was constantly flooded with complaint threads about them for years. They can kick rocks in custom matches. 😹

I am also playing with my friends sometimes. Not always but DbD is more fun with friends. Even you lose games.

Camping and tunneling is however, extremely prevalent. It may not be every game, but it's definitely not a minority of players using those strategies.

not only those 2 perks , there is alot of things that is not fair in this game, in terms of playing killer in high mmr , forget it it's pretty unbalanced.
same for solo survivors in high mmr.

If they go, game will not survive. You can not tell people "We have online game but you can not play with your friends,". They will just go for another game and then DbD will die. DbD is party game and it should be.
But this does not mean devs should leave game like this. Game needs balance changes. So problem is not people who wanna play with their friends. Problem is BHVR is not doing anything for balance.

You can still get camped and tunnelled at end game. There's no reason for them to deactivate.

I think exit gates should regress, and gates should shut after a set period of time. Lastly, loitering in the exit zone should carry some risk, such as the entity blocking it if you wait too long.

If DS is a concern at the end of a trial, then the killer probably did not have a good game during the beginning and middle portions of a match.
Focus on becoming better in those areas rather then ask that the ends of trials be made easier.

technically killers already had a valid counter... tunneling without considering ds from the beginning... after all this is what most survivors want since they want to keep this perk for the late game; in that way they can escape without much troubles in the endgame... the actual state of the game will FORCE most killers to play in a certain way if they want win

I dont think its too abusable, most macro gp of tunneling relies on testing these perks and playing around them. Id like to have other perks like guardian compete with them to make it more interesting tho tbh.

How is this "abuse"? This is exactly what the perks should do, isn't it? You need to check during the game who got BT so you know who to beat first at endgame unhooks to force a trade or make someone without BT do the unhook for example. Eat a DS midgame if you can afford it. There are ways to play around it, like you have to get around any other perk

What abuse? The perks do what theyre supposed to do. If youre unable to hit the unhooker two times, or even grab them, its not the survivors perks fault. And endgame isnt something special to favor killers. Its a band aid fix to prevent hostage situations.

Or they're patient enough to not use it early. Or it's on the one guy who you didn't hook during the match as they never went for saves till end game.
In the current meta that's not entirely possible outside of the strongest most oppressive killers.

DS has already been toned down with a more anti tunnel focus. The days of old DS/UB 1 min of complete immunity to do gens, heal or whatever are gone.
If you down someone in endgame you have to anticipate that they may have DS, wait it out or accept you may not be able to hook them if they crawl out in time.
Play around it and accept that as with many perks, you may get the perfect use scenario that all but guarantees an escape that you can't really stop. That's fine because scenarios like that should be the exception not norm if you've applied good pressure throughout the game.
Sam goes for BT don't get caught out by the BT body block speed burst to the gate. Its 15 secs if they are close enough to the gate to get out then they probably will but if not you should be able to get that down.
NOED and bloodwarden are great counters to this and worth running if you come across it a lot.

How are they abusing it? The perk only has 60 seconds before it automatically deactivates, same with BT. If you have a probblem with it then just don't tunnel?

It’s not the worst idea but it’s also not a good one. I understand it’s frustrating for killers to get hit by DS/BT at EGC but tunneling is still tunneling.
