Nah he's super annoying. He's anti loop and if you let the chain hunt go he's pretty much anti generator. He's the killer that just doesn't let you play the game.

Jesus christ, not trying to be an entitled survivor main and rarely do I ever complain but pinhead just makes the game unbearable. As soon as I load into a match and find out that’s the killer I just want to disconnect, and when the match is over get off for the day. A game should be enjoyable for players, not want you to get off immediately. Maybe it’s because he’s a fairly new killer and i’m learning how to play against him still but good god he is extremely aggravating, and a lot of people seem to think the way I do. I have yet to play a fun match with that killer. It’s honestly ridiculous.
Edit: Not trying to say he should be nerfed, there are some things I enjoy like his voicelines are pretty cool and the sounds but he’s just not a particularly fun killer for me to play against. He’s just annoying as hell.

He's about as anti-loop as Clown except he takes more skill.
He passively slows down the game.
Aren't gens supposed to be super boring for Survivors? Isn't that why most Survivors want to be chased because it's exciting and let's them show off their skills?

Well why would you make gens even more boring by having a chain hit you every 3 seconds? I don't think pinhead should be nerfed or anything, he's very balanced, he's just annoying af.

Just take the box and he has no power, its all about time management, know when to solve it and how his chains work.
I dont find him very strong or oppressive at all.

He's not fun to play against.
You need to dodge his chain in the chase,
You need to rely on your team or yourself to solve the box in time,
I call "solving the box" a death wish, either healthy or injured.
When chain hunts happens the snowballing begins.

I heard that one is pretty good on indoor maps where chains can be broken more easily.

I like going up against the hell priest. Wish I saw him more often, honestly. Unique gimmicks, fun voice lines (when they work) and counters that you have to think to employ, without feeling too cumbersome.

It's not that difficult to solve the Lament Configuration.
If the game goes on longer, you get to be chased more. Ergo, you should be ecstatic that there's a feature that passively slows the game down.
unless it's not actually about it being boring, it's about it slowing the game down and people don't like it when they can't immediately finish gens

Sometimes the Chains spawn and immediately break.
No objects around, they just instantly shatter as if they're the icicle I yeeted off my roof.

He's pretty miserable to go against.
It's the same issue Freddy had. His power synergizes way too well with stacked meta slowdown. It seems like most of the Forever Freddies are playing Pinhead now. Pretty much every Pinhead I run into has Engineer's Fang and Thanat/PGTW/Pain Resonance/flex perk. It's a miserable slog.
I say this as someone who plays a ton of Pinhead too. His anti-loop is good. I think anyone who says he has bad chase is just not good at Pinhead. Maybe there's a control difference on it between PC and console. I don't know.
Engineer's Fang definitely needs to be reworked. It's not needed for him to be viable if someone is good with the killer. It's just an easy mode add on that makes the game super unfun for the other side. Same concept as Mother Daughter Ring/Cherry Blossom. I hate the idea that you can play a killer on easy mode as long as you run an ultra rare/purple add on combo.

Ok so your reasoning is that survivors should do gens slowly until they want to pick up the box and then force a chase with a killer who is anti loop. That's terrible design, everything about pinhead is terrible to go against. Nobody wants to do gens or loop him.

Eh, ime you either will stomp him into the ground and pick up his trash on the way out or he'll annihilate your whole team, esp if solo Q. He is super add-on dependent and a Coordinated SWF is GG for Pinhead more times than not. He direly needs a buff to his possessed chain ability to make him a more consistent anti-loop killer.

Pinhead is like plague to me. If you have a bad team, they are miserable (not doing the box or cleansing every single time) but if you have a good team they are fun to go against

I agree with a earlier comment. He's just a way harder clown. I've played pinheads that don't miss the chain and man it's tough. Especially when no one picked up the box.
