They should bring back Spirit’s old vault animation
I wasn’t around when this was a thing but after seeing gameplay of it I don’t think it would be that problematic now with directional audio. After watching gameplay, I can tell exactly when she when was going to vault based off her animation so it will be fine ti bring back. This can make her more appealing for everyone, can give more variety to play against, and can also be an indirect buff to Senko Hanabi.

I actually like the old vault animation. It give an eerie vibe to the spirit . In a way it similar to how I feel about hag's camera grab gimmick.

Definitely especially with how pinhead have a similar animation now when he vault from survivor's perspective.

I don't see how the directional audio change would have affected it.
That applies only while the Spirit is phasing. You can't vault windows, or do anything else for that matter, while phasing.
Sure it was aesthetically pleasing, but it wasn't fun to have to guess whether she is actually vaulting or not. It lead to many unfair downs for many players because *you couldn't see her*.

Because some players would go to the window and actually phase but if you did that now then the survivor can hear them coming so that wouldn’t work as well.

I was not a guess lol. The spirit's body would blink if she was vaulting. Pretty easy to notice

I really liked the way it used to work. I understand why it was removed but I agree with the most recent change I feel like it could go back to being the way it was.

No. There should be no "am I standing still" mind games on Spirit.
Vaulting never created a phasing noise, so it would still be a coin toss as to whether she's on the other side of the window and you can stay safely where you are, or she's 90% of the way through a vaulting animation and you need to be gone already. Phasing noise would only be relevant if she chose to phase around the window, but seeing an animation as the killer vaults a window is still important information that should not be taken away.

I loved the original and would really like it back; if not however then a version similar to Pinhead or even Sadako could be cool.

No, this is the same thing as her stand-still mindgame where you could mindgame yourself without the killer even having to do anything.

No, you couldn't tell because she didn't have any visible animation, she just appeared on the other side when completed. It was designed to be that way. Of course, it was more powerful because she could've been phasing as well back in the days, but it was still a stand still 'mindgame' even when she didn't.

Duh. There was a subtle tell that she was vaulting anyway. Most people just don’t want to focus hard enough 🙄
