Tired, I'm tired to be tunneled off hook and camped
Why, why is necesery every single surv on hook and tunnel?? ######### is wrong with you, people?? Did someone hurt you in real life that you spread your trash all over the people in game??? I haven't playing DBD for 2 months and guess what??? Nothing changed, killers keep camping and been on Red ranks, campers on Red ranks. My every single match is facing strong tunnelers or just team who die in first minutes. I see more clear that this game is broken and nothing can change that. Killers camping, survs DC or suicide on hooks, pretty good job so far... Shame and facepalm

I am not in the higher Elo's (I think Gold grade 1 Survivor? haven't checked for a while though) but games where tunneling and camping occur are pretty rare, maybe 1 in every 4-5? survivor suicide/dc even rarer than that so I don't know what bad luck you got given but it sounds awful

Its not a hacker, its the fact that none of the killers, except maybe Nemisis with ultra lucky zombie spawns, can stop any of the other 3 survivors before getting a down. The early game is a lose-lose for most. where you either have 1 hook at 2 gens or try and spread pressure to have no hooks at 3 gens.

Not playing fair? Get tbagged (if someone survives) and called "idiot camper / tunneler" but in this case the killer gets something out of it.

Why are you mad at the killer for doing their job? The foundation of this game is built around things like tunneling and camping, that is essentially the game.
Sure you should typically go for other chases where convenient and to the extent it spreads pressure, but you don't just go chasing someone new if you're in a position where you should be checking on hook or getting a particular survivor with perks that will spell your doom out of the game.
Basically, many people have a bad understanding of the fundamentals of this game at it's core and use that as an excuse to blame the opposite side for "playing a particular way".
Killers aren't supposed to let you unhook, and if they are effective at spreading pressure while guarding the hook, that's what they should be doing.
Survivors are supposed to bodyblock, hook trade, etc. to their advantage and deny you, as killer, the satisfaction of the kill.
You are supposed to be tilted, frustration in this game is what causes snowballing, not fear. What is pressure but applying frustration to your opponent in order to win?

Thats impossible, a gen takes 80 seconds when being done by 1 Survivor alone.

Whats the point of waiting the whole 2 minutes in the exit gate without a killer in even terror radius range?
And it became custome even if the killer comes and the survivor don't tbag, they just dip out at the last second and get chase points but deny the killer hit points. It also positive for survivors and negative for the killer chaser emblem.
So except for gaining two minutes time in exchange for dignity and emotional stability (the amount of damage doesn't matter here), there is absolutely zero reason anymore to go to the exit gates.
Edit: Sorry typed myself into a rant there. To your question, there is no answer besides to be a dick, for both scenarios, yours and mine.

I see when the killer is starting to tunnel/camp for example when there is just 1 gen left so that they have at least 1 kill.
But there are a lot of killers out there who tunnel/camp right from the start. Like... why?

This is why I believe BHVR needs to make a DBD 2. The game mechanics for DBD are antiquated. Too much power is the hands of one side depending on the match. Experienced SWF? Killer has a miserable time the ENTIRE match. Frustrated killer who can’t see who is partied up? Camps and tunnels every game just to be sure and able to compete: solo survivors have a miserable time the ENTIRE match.
This game is not fun for me any more. I’m getting more frustration than enjoyment. Yesterday I dropped $30 on auric cells, and today I told myself that needs to be my last monetary support. Just game after game with teammates no where competent or on my level, and every single killer is GOOD. Way better than the four of us. This matchmaking is killing me.
Sometimes I wonder where Friday the 13th would be now, had that lawsuit not taken place…. Damn I miss that game at its peak.

No joke bring DS and your favorite chase perks and take it as practice. If it keeps happening, maybe killers are targeting you cause you're not strong in chase?
It's funny how much expectations and mindset impact how we respond to things. I know I'm more likely to get frustrated playing survivor when I have a challenge I wanna finish for example.
So if you assume killers will try to tunnel you out and accept the challenge and use their tunneling to practice chase, you'll have a better time.

Survivors using meta perks to stop these cheap tactics? No skill, these perks need to be nerfed etc
@Nikatara69 My best advice is to just start using meta perks and playing SWF. Most killer players dont care about your fun so you shouldnt either.

I sometimes think this as well, but that is not a fun mechanic. The opposition shouldn’t be able to take you completely out the game from start to finish like that. This is why I suspect Off the Record was initially changed to 80 seconds for endurance.

I have noticed the whole extreme tunneling situation being more of an issue recently. - And if it happens it happens in streaks and it is ridiculous and annoying. There are situations where I understand tunneling; but to just be glued to the first survivor until they are dead-dead is not one of them. - Tunneling after three gens are done by the time you down your first survivor? Annoying to be on the receiving end of that - but understandable. One gen left? Same story. EGC? Same story. - Heck, even a lack of other survivors (usually the unhooker just vanishing into thin air) is where I understand "tunneling" (tbh, I think that kinda tunnel isn't even a tunnel. No killer can be expected to go out of their way to not go after the only survivor they see). But how hellbent some people are on tunneling is beyond me and it is not fun.
To those who say "go play killer and you know why": I do play killer. And the situation people describe that makes them use tunneling as their go to approach to the game happens to me maybe once or twice per 10 matches. Definitely not enough to cloud my mood. (3K+H & 2K being my most common results.) Sure, I play chill and 3k+h and 2k are my most common results but it means I play against people who are at around the same level as I. - Makes me wonder if some people got themselves to a place way out of their league by being carried by perks/add-ons/certain strategies and now expect to lose in whatever match they load into if they don't hard tunnel. (spoiler: in that case you might actually want to lower your mmr. Making it an early as possible 3v1 to 3 or 4k will only exacerbate your troubles).

The issue is that you're asking killers to handicap themselves but not asking survivors to do the same. Tunnelling is usually the most efficient way for the killer to play if they want to win, and camping to some degree is often effective as well. Despite the meme they -are- legitimate tactics and help the killer win, and asking killers not to do them is immediatly putting them at a big disadvantage.
People say "yeah well good killers can get 4ks without tunneling or camping" and yes they can, but usually it requires them to be playing the strongest killers or for matchmaking to be putting better killers against worse survivors. A Legion, a Clown, a Pig playing against a similarly-skilled group of survivors will likely not do too well unless they tunnel and maybe camp.
Look at high-level tournament play, heck look at big streamers when they're playing to win, they usually tunnel and camp.

Ok, I played a killer. In fact, I played killer more than a thousand times, now what? The only reason I would think of camping is to sign under my incompetence, because camping and tunneling leads exactly to 3 gens pop in 90 seconds against good teams. Why would I do that?

Most killer mains have turned into bots. They have to tunnel and camp to win, because why use actual skill/thinking? When they can just turn their brains off and go after 1 person over and over again and get their 1 kill, and then pat themselves on the back for it lmao. Then have the audacity to say 'it isn't personal'.
I've had this happen to me so many times from the start of the trial that I just left the game and closed it off, and played something else, something actually fun.

Are you really crying because someone is crouching in front of you ? Facecamp/tunneling can often totally prevent someone from playing the game, t bag and flashlights doesn't do anything to you unless you're fragile, you still get to play the game
I play both sides I'm trying to be unbiased but I don't understand people acting like someone spamming crouching is the worst thing they ever endured in their life, some killer mains should definitely try to play the other side from time to time

You shouldn't be angry toward those players, but towards the devs who force players to do so in order to secure at least 1/2 kills... I bet that if they put some mechanics that will greatly help the killer in exchange for not tunneling and camping, you'll see those kind of players once in a century...
