Survivors need an audio rework, especially after the iron will change
I still dont get why every survivor has different volumes and consistency with cries of pain.
It's so bad you basically put yourself at a bigger disadvantage while playing certain characters. While I still play all survivors I'd be lying if the sounds didnt put me off playing them more often.
People like Ash who is ridiculously loud compared to someone like ace who barely makes a sound is too far apart from each other
I think it's about time we adjusted the volumes of all the survivors so they're more equal. (For example make ace louder and ash quieter)

Be careful what you wish for. We could end up with all survivors sounding like Jeff, but louder.
For years

I'd rather they didn't. This serves as one of the few things to differentiate survivors, so they're somewhat unique and not all just skins.
Height and Sound give survivors different levels of 'difficulty' when it comes to stealth.

Agree, I think all Survivors should be equal to each other when it comes to balance. All same volume, footsteps, etc.

Jeff and Ash definitely need an audio rework. Jeff is loud even when uninjured.

True playing Laurie without Iron Will is really putting yourself at a huge disadvantage survivors are supposed to be skins not give you any noticeable advantages Ace and Kate have basekit IW while most survivors are loud af.
When I play against a Spirit who has MDR and Yamaoke amulet some really strong add-ons I play the most boring way possible I am just going to predrop all pallets on the whole map if you get hit and don't have Iron will chase wont last more than 20 seconds, playing a quiet survivor gives you a big advantage against her.
I agree with you BHVR needs to do something about this.

Iron will is still good and will still help with this.

I play Jeff when I want to practice looping because I know the killer is going to tunnel me with Jeff running around making noise like an ambulance.

no, it's garbage now. do you even play this game??

Yes. When I run iron will it literally feels like I'm cheating. It was ridiculous and all survs use it for is reinforcing the most boring part of DBD: breaking line of sight and holding W in loops.
75% reduction in audio is quite good. It makes your location way less certain. There's an otz video testing it vs. spirit and it still gets value.

A reason why Ace is becoming one of my new mains. If I'm gonna go for stealth plays, I'll be playing him. When I used no mither on Ace, you could barely hear him, so he will definitely benefit from new iron. And running no exhaustion perks I'm okay with if I want him to be very quiet at all times.

yeah i'm more talking about the annoying sounds the survivors make when injured. for me it was a quality of life necessity to not be completely annoyed by their sounds when injured. and a small part about hiding before i could flashlight. now that's totally not possible anymore cause any killer with a little brain that uses his ears and headphones hear you from miles away, it doesnt matter if there is a reduction u still sound like a dying cat to the killer's ears

the terrible part of this is, i don't like his character, i dont like playing males in general because they block too much screen and ace in partical is very uninteresting to me.

Iron Willnow reduces your grunts of pain by 75% rather than making you silent, and no longer works while Exhausted. We’ve seen some feedback concerning the volume of certain Survivors compared to others, causing this perk to be less effective on Survivors with louder grunts of pain. In a future update, we’ll be reviewing the volume levels of each Survivor’s grunts to ensure that each of them can make use of this perk.
I sure hope thistl thread was posted before the developer update.
