Calm spirit nerf

All the new stuff in the updated perk rework was addressed except the 30% debuff on chest opening and totem cleansing/blessing, in exchange for doing those actions completely quiet. That's a bigger nerf than benefit.

Yeah idk why a obvious nerf is going live. Assuming its non-optional so you are basically permanently taking a debuff for something that won't always be useful.

It's so stupid. You shouldn't be cleansing or opening a chest near the killer at all!

Yeah agreed. The changes are good, but some perk changes are not great:
- Botany, it could just be 35% like it is now but remove the Healing Item Efficiency
- Self Care could get reverted to 50%. If any self heal speed should be reduced it's CoH, that could be reduced to 35% since you already get 50% bonus healing speed
- Calm Spirit, even if the silent action is optional it's lame. If 100% reduction is OP, why not make it 75% and with no speed reduction?
- Thanatophobia did not need a buff, and certainly not with the increase in gen time
But other than that, I'm happy with the changes, very happy with the changes to DH, Endurance, endgame, everything, really.

I am glad to see so many people agree with this. Calm Spirit is one of my favorite perks and yet they nerfed it for no reason :/ Especially since I am the type of survivor to do totems anyway, but now I am penalized for liking a perk and doing totems ¬.¬

Why add a downside at all??? This perk was already niche.

This perk is horrible because it relies completely on you getting Doctor or someone running Iron Maiden, Spies from the Shadows. Both are extremely rare.

The change doesn't make sense, if you want to get a benefit from the silent actions, the Killer needs to be near you, if they don't make the silencing optional, than it's a straight up nerf.
